Items that are upgraded are components that can be slotted into weapons, armor and trinkets to offer an added benefit. They tend to be more expensive and require that the item is of a certain rank.

By moving your pointer over any glyph, you'll be able to see its CID/GID and Unicode value in a tool tip.
After you've entered a few glyphs, the Glyphs panel will keep track of the last 35 glyphs you used and will make them available under Recently Used on the first row of the panel (you need to expand the panel to see all 35). You can also remove them from this list by right-clicking or Control-clicking a symbol in the list and selecting Remove from Recent Glyphs.
The Glyphs Panel also lets you to create a custom set of glyphs. This is useful if frequently need to type certain text types. This will help you avoid needing to manually insert each glyph whenever you need it.
A custom glyph can have up to 30 glyphs. This includes both the base name as well as its suffix. The glyphs used in the base name must be uppercase English letters (A-Z) and lowercase English letters (a-z), European digits (0-9), and underscore (_). The suffix can also include ligatures, or contextual alternative. These are special variants which combine two or more letters into one glyph.
Reroll Tokens
Upgrades are the primary mechanics that give extra bonuses to items, such stats. They come in different types: reroll levels up, recycle and reroll. Each type offers a different set extra bonuses for an item Upgrader Kit.
Reroll Tokens can be used to alter an item's base stats and upgrade items number. They can also be used to reroll substats in rings. Selecting a franchise card from the Blueprint Desk will allow you to obtain certain appliances or ingredients that are required for some recipes. Certain appliances and ingredients are considered staple which means they will never be available at the Shop or through a reroll, whereas others have a higher chance of appearing if a specific Franchise Card is selected from the Blueprint Desk. This is known as the Staple Pool, and the items in it will remain in that pool for the rest of the run. The same goes for non-staple equipment. transferred to the Seed Pool when it is purchased from the Blueprint Desk.
Recycled Items
The third "R," recycle, is where the magic truly occurs. When you recycle a product made from recycled materials you are not only helping the environment but also giving that item a new life. This is because the majority of items that are recycled go back to the manufacturer of the original to be remanufactured to create a new product. This is what we call "closing the loop of recycling."

Leveling
The majority of units can increase their level, giving them more XP every time they attack or are attacked.
