Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

If you've ever thought of purchase a robot cleaner vacuum, now is the time. CNET's top-rated models will be on sale for Black Friday and Cyber Monday with discounts as high as 57%.

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that is equipped with smart mapping and app-based no go zones. Its run time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.

1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. Its greatest advancement is an obstacle detection system that utilizes built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes, and the pet waste that many other robots are unable to avoid (and often go through). It's also the first robot to automatically send you a picture of any object it encounters so that you can tell it to avoid it in the future.

The Combo j7+ is also the best robot to mop we've ever tested, picking up spills and dirt effortlessly and leaving no trace that it was there. It's easy to control using the iRobot Home app, which lets you schedule cleaning and set up Keep Out Zones to make sure it doesn't sweep areas you don't want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it with a voice.

Its design is also a step above the competition, with a sleek top piece that appears more like a toy rather than a loud, loud one. And the Clean Base Automated Dirt Disposal System self-empties which is great to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests the j7+ was quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in place rather than scattering it around the floor. It even was able to take small gravel and sand, which most other robots aren't able to do. It did without getting caught up in our pet's hair.

While it's not quite as efficient as the Roomba s9+ Self-Emptying intelligent vacuum cleaner, and it's not able to clean stairs, the J7+ is an excellent option for those who need both a vac and a mop in their home. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it simple to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take a while to download updates, and at times it's hard to determine if the update is actually working until you've seen it in the action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking to purchase a robot vacuum that does more than simply clean floors, the most effective option is likely to be hybrid. This category of bots typically comes with a built-in tank for water which means they can mop and vacuum your home at the same time. They also come with many additional features, including smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. The disadvantage is that they can be expensive when purchased at full retail, but during Black Friday and Cyber Monday they usually drop in price.

Roborock is the manufacturer of several of our top robotic vacuums, and the Q5+ does not perform to the standards. It's the cheapest model of their auto-empty line. Although it doesn't have some of the more premium features (like no-go areas and multi-story memories) however, it's an excellent choice for those who are willing to compromise to save a few bucks.

The Q5+ is remarkably soft when it comes to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it a great option for homes with many furniture pieces. It's also very thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is a area where most robot vacuums of lower quality fall short. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is excellent and has very few missed corners and along walls.

Like other Roborock devices like the Q5+, the Q5+ can be controlled using a handful of buttons on the device or via the Roborock app. With the app you can start and stop cleanings or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones, and modify your home map or change the labels of rooms.

If you decide to go with the Q5+, it comes with a new auto-empty dock specifically designed to make this machine easy to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once it's installed, the process of emptying the bin is easy. It also comes with an impressive LCD display that is great to have when setting up schedules or altering settings. This isn't a necessary feature for most people, but it's one that can assist you in keeping the track of your Robot cleaner Commercial's maintenance intervals easily.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a sophisticated, well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of mopping and vacuuming. Its design is one of the top in the market however it's quite expensive.

The base station is attractive and is hidden when it's not in use, and the dimensions are quite small. The station's most appealing point is how it automates various tasks and functions that other robots will leave to you. It can store clean and dirty water and electrolyze and heat the water. The majority of other robots require you to do this.

Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive as well. It's the only robovacs that I've tested that does an excellent job of cleaning up debris from unfinished floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot the 900 series.

But the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren’t as reliable as other robovacs. This means it could get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the house cleaning robot. It's not able navigate stairs as well as some competitors, either and doesn't come with an dock that allows you to create a dedicated house cleaning robot zone for plush carpets.

Although it doesn't provide as much in the way of cleaning options available in its app, or as many in-app shortcuts as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those seeking a great all-round robot vacuum and mop that's worth the higher price cost.

However, if you're looking to save some money or simply don't care about the limitations of this machine, there are plenty of alternatives available, including a lot of eufy models for substantially less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and provides the same experience in the app, but with more features, including stairs, a fully-function dock, and superior overall vacuuming performance on bare floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.

4. Eufy RoboVac g30

eufy, an Anker company has a proven track record of making robot vacuums that strike the perfect balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different it offers a high-quality cleaning on hard floors and mopping functions as well as carpets at an affordable price point. It's easy to set it up, simply snap on one of the side brush and turn it on, then connect the charging dock. The app walks you through several steps to connect to your Wi-Fi, and the G30 is ready to go. The dock must be placed close to an outlet that has plenty of space to move.

The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be exact and can be placed under couches and other furniture with a low clearance. Its design is a little less ostentatious than some rival models, sporting sleek black finishes and three buttons that are physical: Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Cleaning (which cleans the area in an arc for two minutes). You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.

The most important feature that distinguishes the G30 apart from most competitors is the way it cleans. It uses an integrated map to make an image of the immovable items in its path. It keeps track of what it has already cleaned and where it cannot access. It then returns to the base to recharge and continues cleaning the area it left.

The eufy G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba is better built and has lower monthly costs. It charges faster, offers a similar battery life, and is more effective on bare floors or low-pile carpet. It has a bigger dust bin that doesn't require the same amount of emptying. It also comes with boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller canister means it doesn't have to be empty as often, and it has less difficulty with bulky items such as cereal.
