They will release it as soon as possible, I cant wait too, but give them some time
Its not like we aren't giving time, but they gave us a release date for the Demo, and not having it is very disappointing.

Life is disappointing. It also gets in the way. Patience will be your best friend right now.

the fault lies on me, we ran into some problems at the last minute and i had to leave town for Christmas, so being without my works and my computer it has really set us back. the date was set and was very important to me(i was the one who set it, being it was my son's 9th birthday) but the issues we ran into was more important to me to fix than making my release date. i will not be home until after Christmas but i will try my best to get it into the communities hands for testing

Hey, it's not a problem, do your thing. It's too bad people can't be patient... people were disappointed? Tough. The demo will be released when it's released, and us patient players will be ready.

@MGMURROW: it's no one's fault man. All of us had a lot of RL stuff around, either good or sad. But we're still working on the project, and we've been doing so for a long time. Don't worry, we'll keep working on it :)

You should really stop your babbling about "being patient", after all its not like you're not disappointed too. Anyway, when people say they're disappointed, doesn't mean that they don't understand that could have been a problem, or that they are angry, or that they are not going to wait anymore, it just means that they are disappointed because something cool they were waiting for didn't come when they expected, its completely normal.

So am I. I don't complain about the delay of a MUGEN project that wasn't gonna come out yet, even though it has reached it's completion date.

Game on!

A bit salty are we? Maybe you should cool off with getting upset and realize how many times this scenario has played out in the past with people reacting the same way every time and that we'd all much rather avoid going down that road again.

I'm sorry if that bothers you so much, but as I said, I'm not angry to need to cool off, I'm just disappointed.

I don't blame anyone for delaying the release date of the Mugen project. There is no deadline for it, but any individual has a plan to release or when not to. It's just a person's choice to change schedule release if cannot. CFAS is already delayed because some or many of the crew are working on MVC probably for advancing new level or something. I mostly anticipate CFAS more BUT I always have patience in waiting for it to be done. (It's no one's fault for the release delay.)

This. And pretty much everything else against impatience.

I'm already grateful that they even do this sort of thing, a full game project takes alot of time to make.

That is so excellent man. Great gameplay and stage. I especially like those effects. Gives the game such detailed graphics. I will enjoy the demo of this game.

I am anticipating this, primarily for the new Marvel characters being made.  In honesty, I never download full games and instead try to grab the individual characters.  The full game looks nifty, though.

As far as delays, I always look at such things as inevitable.  Look at the actual video game industry.  They can have quite a few dedicated people working on a game, paid to work on that game, and as such have it as their only project (as therefore work doesn't get in the way, as it is their work), and yet you see delays happen.

I just hope things run smoothly from here on out and await the character releases (and considering how terrible I am at playing games, for me to plunk them in watch mode and see them fight the other superheroes I've gathered for my stuff).

I agree with you but, there is something about being paid aswell. A company can hire you and pay to make, finish a game. Even if they don't feel like making it, they are forced to finish it since they are paid for it. Delays happen here because of coyright issiues and the release date changes with improvements they want to bring.

A fanmade game and it's creator uses his inspiration and time. His delays happen because of it's real life wich can block the effort to make the game and takes longer than usual. So in short terms, a game company works official and can't pay for inspiration but, pay you to do the job whatever happens. A creator wich makes a fangame doesn't have to work with rules that are similiar like a game company.
