Luckily I was able to register the name Manic before it was taken. ;*)) Unless, if that matters and you have to use a code. If anyone wants to add me, just say so. ;D

Funny thing about the advancement of Capcom vs the advancement of the Mugen community is interesting. The frames, sprites and smoothness is more advanced, but the hypers, and creativity isnt that far advanced over Mugen. Ken Eagles maxximum spider type move is pretty boring, it's nothing but flash, and sparx, and you cant see anything. I seem to be falling into playing Ryu to beat the game.

Which is why I stay away from characters ppl already know how to play because thats the first they chose and makes the game against them more boring than ever..............

As far as me, A new game with alot of new characters?
More options to try and use besides using the same, lame old reliables........

I agree with that assessment, although video game quality is moving full speed ahead of mugen, the thought and time put into mugen hypers often provide something new that's actually character specific.

Remember this is Eighting not Capcom.  Eighting is known for crappy genric fighting games like Naruto, Bleach, Kamen Rider, Battle Stadium, Akumajo Judgement, Zatch Bell and more.  Capcom is just publishing this.  In Eighting games you have reused hypers and content button mash.

I love this game, all the characters are fun to use but of course i will devote myself to mastering Tekkaman Blade , he is a beast in the game , frank and zero are not too shabby either , although i fear for the online lag , on my fights i keep facing camping Kaijin no sokis, Tekkamans and Joes that are well suitable for lagging fights specially kaijin with his super armor attacks. its still a fun game and i see myself playing this for years to come until the next capcom vs series installment.

I concur. Shopping cart with zombie > any projectile

My favorite 4 so far are Frank/Chun/Blade/Yatterman-2

Don't get me started, it's just like fighting never ending shoto players in sf4 online, God I wish ppl learn the word "variety".

Well of course Ryu/Batsu players are everywhere.  Thats also what made me stop liking this game, because I went to two TVC tournaments and there nothing but Ryu/Batsu players.  I used Ippatsuman and Yatterman no.1 and they kept spamming fireball till their gauge fills up to shoot a "Shin Hadouken".

It's good to see I am not the only one experiencing this.
I swear without ryu, alot of these ppl are hopeless.
Not to mention the game becomes rather disappointing after seeing the same combination of players constantly.

I haven't played this game yet (too broke to buy it) but my team would probably be Batsu and Ippatsuman.
I like the way their moves work.

I just played this game(for the first time) yesterday! My team is Joe & Ken. And I agree with syn, the batsu & ryu players WOULD be hopeless without them!

Post Merge: January 28, 2010, 11:28:54 AM
And for the record, I don't even messed with anyone ryu related!

A secret file given to people who preordered the Japanese version shows some concept art for characters that didn't make the cut. Among them...
