while testing i haven't seen any issues.. yet, i wonder if there is something i'm missing constantly, i had issues with avalanche cloning, not sure whats doing there

On Havok the char clone problem its because DB+p  Omni Blast, your blast rings
helper (stateno = 1101/1121/1131 etc)
they have blue colisions on the anim 1129 but no hitoverride on the statedefs
so when they are hitted by a custom state from other char the cloning appear ok
also check the helpers on intros with the debug warnings ;)

Nice to see a new Havok for mugen guys, waiting for the update!
pretty cool that Monolith reference :)

This is the first of Arkady's chars to come out that I beta tested before release, but honestly there was very little that I pointed out and it's just a great character overall. I didn't encounter any cloning issues.

As far as videos go, I've just used this website--> http://www.screencast-o-matic.com/

You don't even need to install a program, it's just browser-based. I dunno if the framerate's good enough for MUGEN gameplay, but it's very easy to use and will upload right to youtube.

Did you change anything after the last version you sent me? I haven't gotten a chance to try this one yet.

EDIT: Don't know if you could before but I can cancel the dash by attacking or jumping... good enough, I'll quit bitching about it now. :P

EDIT: I noticed you fixed what I pointed out about the beams, too. Nice!

EDIT: VERY NICE new hammer punch hyper!

thanks loganair, its nice to get help from an acclaimed creator as yourself,and i have always admired your thor as the pinicle in mugen creation,
 zvitor had worked the cloning issue out a couple of days ago aswell, so we are good. which mean now that i know this avalanche wip will get the cloning problem fixed aswell, will update soon, just wanna fix up the main hyper for havok
snakebyte extremely useful info from yourself has made this character as fun as it is, so many thanks for your imput. and bitchiness always welcome haha.

and a major special thanks to my good friend volzilla (who has now retired) for without him i'd say 3/4 of my work wouldn't exist
he was very instrumental in acquiring the wip, the voice actor and other creators to help with this wip, (gonna miss you bro)

Normally I don't do this but since I see Lognair said some cool stuff about this character I thought it must be pretty cool...

+sprites look decent.

+he has moves that fit Havok.

-Lot of FX's on the intro is cool, but no sound fx's  only on one and I don't think it is the fx sound being made :-"

-you should try doing a fade out transparency on the characters that dissapear on the intro it would look much better.
 
-intro debug error.

* don't put parent or root coding on states that are not halpers.

-Pausetime for the projectiles should not be the same as the time for the opponent cuz this happens

*pausetime = 9,9 try  something  like this pausetime = 3,9

-EOH template ?

-try putting some yaccel on the launcher the enemy reaches his peak position in like 1 tick (almost looks like he teleports up)

-LP,MP,to the HP throw does major damage, you might want to put some throw damage dampener on that.

-head and mid pos are off  a little on their x axis's

-his width's are really small for such a wide stance.

-could do so much more with 1.0 AI  ~X(

-no run o back dash landing sounds :(

-standing HK woosh sound plays twice.

-combos are spastic and very simple to pull off I can simply mash/rub buttons and do .them.

-HK Hammer Punch he appears to be standing in the air...


-no hitsparks on standing HP.
-no hitsparks Dash Kick's

-MK dash kick's has more velocity then the HK version and will usually jump over opponents head.

-his Hyper1 beam does 50 hits no knockdown but he has majorr cooldown after it leaving him very vulnerable.  :-??

-How come must his hypers have really big fx's but no sounds for the big fx's besides his hyper1 and hyper5? it's almost like the other one are not even there besides the visuals.

-you know about the clones.

-FX alignment is off on the Hyper3


-Hyper portrait  8=| , all the cool images of himm you can find on google images of him and you use this one? at least take the text out we all know his name is Havok.

*Impression, could use some more work and fine tuning coding wise, the sprites are fairly good but maybe some additional (like air anims for his HP hammer fist) ones would not be a bad thing. I just find it very hard to find any good comic characters besides Lognair stuff, Vyn's Wolverine, Buckus, Reza, and characters who play exactly like they did in MvC(whatever except 3) (but I don't like characters that play exactly like they do originally). just keep improving him and fixing his issues.

G. posted this at another release, and I thought it was good, and similar to the things aa250 and I usually look for so I thought it would be good to keep it together for whoever bug fixes

-Two whiff sounds play during HK
-Hitsounds are buggy. They retain noise (clipping) due to a volume increase without normalization
-Why do HK and HP cause knockdown?
-Anim 0's clsn doesn't cover enough of the upper body and covers too much of the animation's lower part.
-There is a lot of debug spam during the intro(s)
-Performing a 4 hit string and then using c.HK causes the combo announcer to say "good" twice
-QCB P projectile has no hitsound
-Using QCF P returns a landing sound when the move is nearly finished
-Cancels are weird. I can cancel most normals into QCB P, but I cannot cancel them with QCF P or QCF K
-Animelem 6 of anim 1300 looks like he's standing
-If timed properly, one can use QCF P in the air to float for an indefinite amount of time.
-On the 97th tick of the air Omni Blast super, an explod is spawned for a single tick


-Your projectiles are not coded properly. QCF P is spammable, cannot be hit by other projectiles, and cannot hit other projectiles


This clsn is way too big

I'd appreciate the help, I really don't  want to stop using Broken Mugen yet.

this char works only for mugen 1.0.you have winmugen.that is the problem.

Though both works on clean mugen 1.0(and on IMT screenpack, I'm using, too) just fine... (I have a lot of 1.0 chars on ikemen and they have no such problems :-??)

I'm sure they work fine on other screenpacks, just wanted to know if there's any way to make it work for this one.

Edit: it's ok, if no one is interested in this issue I won't insist anymore, just thought It could be a small fix or something. Thanks anyway.

i know the reason they both don't work, it's because it's the same template, for some reason (beyond my knowledge) i cannot make my default mugen play through fighter factory with these charcters on my pc at work, but the pc at home works fine, i noticed this about 3 months ago, and thought it was an issue with my work PC, now i'm sure its the Eoh Template, for some reason it doesn't work on some PCs (this was only through tests on Fighter factory though, (i'm sure it aint too much trouble to ask, i'll ask acey)
your probably right sandman could be a small problem, but i'm sure it can be looked at

Great character. One graphical thing I saw was that his one leg seems to come forward VERY fast in his Fwd Walk anim. Another is the gauntlets 'wiggling' in the back walk.
Gameplay-wise, maybe increase the angle of the up/down variations of the  down-back punch move. Forward seems to work against jumping better than the actual up variation. But that is more of a preference.

Liking how much good criticism its getting too.

well, i've gone through all the current feedback and have fixed the major issues now, and a lot of the sound issues also, (which btw were in the sounds themselves)
it's funny how close you become to the character when making it, that you don't notice certian things, it just accept and move on, but the fresh eyes of the community have picked up alot this past week, which is good coz now it's fixed and about to be re-uploaded,

(btw i haven't been able to fix everything so if if there is still the same issue turning up still post as a bug here anyway, K?)
