How you like THIS select screen?

This is my select screen, its a personal edit of the Alpha Storm WinMugen Plus screenpack by Ghostbox. This took months of work and holds 450+ capcom style chars...
Some char NAMES were changed.
And yes each chars 9000, 1 sprite was changed and scaled 200%.
And no, I cant/wont share, this is a personal edit and even if i did most ppl would get lost in all the data, i know i did at times.

works fine, i play it almost every day.
but really i have files with confusing names in weird directories, it works perfect but seriously, unless i upload the entire mugen folder (all 8 GIGz) (wouldnt anyway outta respect for creators) it cause most headaches.

It works the same way as EVE by DJ Vans. In general the size of the character's small icons width is decreased so that in essence the small icons can't be seen. (they're hidding behind the logos but they are very thin.)

Then of course you have a permanent graphic on the screen with all the game logos. You can change this graphic to show which ever logos you wish.


It looks nice. I'm a fan of categories, of course that means I would prefer something more like 40 categories.

actually the categories are separate images, for better color and easier orginization. the contender and evil icons are custom. on a side note i posted some x-men pallets in the graphic art sect. thanks for the comments. i wish i had the time and patience to make it work for everyone.

It looks jumbled together but I like the idea you might try spacing the categories.

i never thought this would get this much attention. i want everyone to remember that i went through most of the chars and manually changed the portrait to a pose sprite amd doubled it 200% in fighter factory (original FF, that new one doesent do that anymore, does it?). also the original Alpha Storm screenpack for WinMugen Plus was cleverly made to be hard to edit using japanese text and javascript-like spacing? If i get a hold of Ghostbox and get permission, ill upload my entire mugen folder MINUS CHARS STAGES MUSIC and any unnecessary files. hopefully it will work for others. ill post more sshots in a few minutes. thanks for the comments.

Umm................................. wouldn't he have to ask the creator of the original screenpack first, just releasing something that wasn't originally yours is kinda unfair isn't it

EVE is a low-res screenpack so it will not work with mugen plus.......................

 he is trying to get the creators permisson . i would not use it otherwise.

EXACTLY   , the last thing i want is to start another mugen sharing/warehousing type brawl.  

i didnt mean for this to be a "tease" i just wanted to show what a select screen CAN look like.
besides, instead of copying mine (and Glassbox to be fair) i wanna see who can top it; & think outside the box like the Scruffy Dragons new select screen.
i studied the mugen docs and destroyed KFM's files to learn this, if i can do it anyone can. thanks again everyone.
  BTW go get my X-men pals outta the graphic section. only 2 dls in  24 hours? and my Master shake char is nearing 1000, forum search him to dl plz. i may update and bugfix him someday,... or hell, ill OPEN SOURCE him and anyone can take a crack at it! if someone does a good job ill sprite frylock and meatwad too, thats the fun part!
hey admins can i/will you put him under the characters cartoons section and possibly the open source sect. thankx.
