World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades can increase the value of armors, weapons and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as crit chance and PvE Damage.

If the template for upgrading a weapon is %, it will increase 3% of its previous attack damage each time it is upgraded.

The cost for upgrading items increases when they reach the item's current level. The cost rises with item's level.

Components

Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, armor, and weapons in order to provide them with a boost in stats or an extra effect. They can be obtained through crafting, buying from vendors or trading with other players or looting. Some upgrades have special cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components are only available to devices that have slots. The item must be upgraded to a blue level before the component can be used. Like other mods, upgrade components can only be used once and cannot be applied repeatedly or replaced by new upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a specific kind of upgrade component that is used for non-amulet ascended and legendary equipment and some of the non-ascended back items. Infusions and Enrichments can be obtained by salvaging equipment from the ascended state or completing a quest in the Prophecies, Factions, and Nightfall campaigns.

A prefix or suffix can be added to an upgrade, thereby changing the name of the item it is used on (for example, 'Canthan Armor Insignia,' is changed to Canthan Armor Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase the Mark Level or Rarity of an item, which lets players to create stronger versions of the item using the smallest amount of Upgrade crystals than they would require to reach the same level with normal methods.

A 'boost upgrade' can alter the defense or attack properties of a weapon, or armor. Once the player has completed the cutscene and defeated the Crazed Mechanist These upgrades can be created at the Portative Forging Station. These upgrades are available for purchase them from the cash shop, or by getting them from enemies while upgrading other gear.

Each upgrade increases the chance that a higher-tier version of the item will be revealed during the next reset. This gives players a reason to upgrade their equipment even in the event that they don't know how much it can be improved upon a reset.

The process of upgrading an item upgrader mod can be costly and it is likely that the item will become obsolete or even break if the upgrade fails. Upgrade Crystals and assist powders are also destroyed if the upgrade fails. This is alleviated by the availability cash shop items that increase or even eliminate the possibility of failure, and some upgrades that provide a bonus when reinserted into an item.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to improve the Paragon Board by placing them in special sockets. Glyphs boost the power of all nodes in a radius around them as well as existing affixes on equipment. Glyphs are upgraded in many ways. We recommend upgrading them as fast as you can to level 15.

In the final game, you will often find that the best way to enhance your equipment is to use Glyphs. They are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded directly to level 15, and they provide an enormous boost to your power and radius on the Paragon Board, enabling you to get higher nodes much faster.

Most of the upgrades in the game can be replaced, however Glyphs are the one upgrade component that can be removed and re-placed without restriction. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and re-placed with the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it in your inventory. You can replace it with a Glyph that is of the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.

You can find Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of an Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain unlimited-use gathering tools as well as through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt could drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs which you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have the desired Glyphs then you have to attach them to your equipment. Each Glyph will unlock a unique bonus that can boost a particular set of stat nodes within a radius around the Glyph. This will either be +40 for one of your primary stats or +25 for two of your secondary stats depending on the Glyph.

Using Glyphs Glyph will boost all nodes that are linked to it, so you should try to place your Glyphs near the most important nodes of the Graph to maximize the impact. Druids for instance, should place their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes. They might also want to consider placing them near their primary damage nodes.

Leveling

The item upgrader mod upgrading system allows players to improve the effectiveness of certain items by placing upgraded components in them. This is known as "upping". Each upgradeable item upgrader mod has an amount that determines its final upgraded stats. Upgraded items may be leveled to a maximum of ilvl 385. Each level of an item requires a different amount of components to be reached, and the upgrade costs increase as the item is advanced in level.

Some upgrades require an ingredient to be activated. This ingredient is obtained by completing Upgrade Recipes. These recipes are available in the upgrade tab of a crafting table, or purchased from some NPCs. Each completed Upgrade Recipe earns several Technology Points. These points can be used to level the item, and when enough points are earned, the upgrade will be claimed and any additional bonuses will be added to the item.

When the player improves a piece of equipment it will be replaced by the new item. This means that the same piece of armor will be transformed into a weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item will come with a bonus of its own. This can be a downside since the item may be more expensive even if you do not need it.

The upgrades to items can be rerolled, provided that the player has enough tokens in order to do so. This causes the item to be exchanged for a brand new one, which will have an initial level and a different set of extra bonuses. This is a good option for some items, but it shouldn't be repeated often, as it could waste a lot of resources.

Certain upgrades can increase their value, allowing players to customize their equipment. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, as it gives an increase in power if the player continuously enters or leaves the water. The item can be upgraded many times by increasing the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This item is extremely valuable in PvP, as the Best item upgrader version of it can be worth between 20 and 50x its non-upp'd value.

Requirements

The upgrade of items allows players to upgrade the quality of their equippable equipment - weapons, armor, and trinkets over ilvl 385 by presenting the appropriate items and currencies to an item upgrader (link webpage) NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces also increase its base defense, while upgrades to weapon items boost their base damage as well as the required strength and dexterity.

All items can be upgraded up to five times, with the exception of hero gear, which can have eight upgrades. Every time you upgrade an object, it is at risk of failing. The failure rate increases as you move beyond the maximum number. Failures will result in the item reverting back to its original state, requiring the player to spend more materials than they would had they stopped upgrading at the maximum number of upgrades.

If an item does not upgrade, the amount of accumulated experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. The item also loses any bonuses it has gained like crit chance, attack damage, or other effects (such as a higher healing rate over time, or reloading speed). However, the user can continue to use the weapon or armor following the failure.

Whenever an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied in order from lowest to highest. This means that, if a weapon gains an increase in crit chance the increase is applied before any increase in attack damage. Slots is a new attribute that has been added to item definitions. The value is recalculated each time an upgrade occurs.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item are dependent on its rarity score and upgrade slot count. The cost for upgrading non-premium items is the same as the base value of the upgrade. For instance, a standard equipment item may have five upgrades, each costing 25600 Technology Points, 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero quality items are less expensive per upgrade items.

Premium items have different upgrade requirements than standard gear--for instance, they may require fewer sowels, but more minerals and erons. However, players must visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade costs mentioned above, each equipment upgrade requires an individual amount of ingredients for upgrading.
