Yeah, I agree with Swift. No more characters from the Sonic series. And I thought the people clamoring for Sora was bad.

It all comes to certain conditions:

1)If there was another character it should be Tails, He's Sonic's Luigi and the fun in SSB is make non-fighters into Fighters.
2)That his appearence doesn't affect the other 3rd Party Character, meaning that if we get Tails/Knuckles/Amy we can still get a Capcom/Namco/SquareEnix contribution.
3)Have him play fun.

If all these are followed I'm all for it, but I believe Assists are more Fitting( I would love a Playable Amy but oh Well. ), No more than 1 Playable character from a 3rd Party would keep everything balanced since the main purpose of SSB is to Clash Characters from Nintendo and it's 2nd Parties.

An Amy AT would make me quite happy.

I'm guessing the third party will be megaman, I think they shouldnt push it to far and keep it at 3 characters from difrent partys, I mean... Its smash bros, I'm not saying its bad to have sonic or maybe even snake but if they added more it would take away some joy of having those 3 special characters in there!

Damn, if there's this many playable characters from the start, one could only begin to fathom how many unlockable characters there will be.

I (for some reason) keep thinking Shadow mighty appear, simply because of some trends from Melee (Like Falco and Fox having similar basic moves, Falcon and Gannondorf, Marth and Roy, etc...)

Speaking of unlockable characters, I seem to remember that in Melee, it seemed like there were just as many secret characters as there were 'default' characters.

He was the less clony of all the clones, Hell I'm not sure if he can be considered a clone at all.

Actually, I believe that Shadow in Brawl is pretty much defeated, since Sonic gets a Black costume in Brawl.
