Falcon? He's comming back, he's a Double Time Veteran and pretty much a Smash Original since they made the moveset specially for the Game so Yeah he's pretty much 99.9% sure comming back.

As for the New Items, I like how they made the Fire Flower right this time.

I hope you're right, it just wouldn't make sense otherwise, but I haven't seen the new flower yet, gonna have to look into that.

Well with all the "Mother 3" stuff in in the game, Ness is proably back to being a secret character.

Thats exactly why! They want you so scared that your favorate character might not be in the game that you go and buy a coppy and play for hours trying to find a way to unlock him. (weather or not he's actualy there)

There aren't many good choices for playable characters in the Earthbound series, and I seriously doubt that Earthbound will be represented by only one character.

Besides if you read all of Lucas' you'll see that Sakurai keeps reminding you of how different are his attacks from Ness, Maybe because he's playable too?

Very true...besides it is unlikely that they would leave ness out since he was in the first and second smash bros right.

It has been up untill now. Hopefuly ness will still be in. Ide love to se Poo in. But they'll probly include another Mother 3 character.

They have Sonic, and Samus in Brawl so I don't see why they couldn't have Megaman in Brawl. Escpecially since all Megaman games except 8 have originally been on Nintendo systems.

3rd party characters would only return to appear in a 4th game if the publisher thinks the likeness in Smash is enough to promote their own companys games. Of if those characters got good public appeal.
So really, it all depends on you if snake comes back to the 4 game if one gets made.

*Let's See, If Sony Dies with the PS3, Metal Gear would go to Nintendo since there appears to be no Microlove So Snake would reapear

*SEGA could even become a 2nd Party with Nintendo and have Sonic and Friends Appear in Mario Party, Mario Kart, Mario Tennis, Mario Strikers AND even with other Nintendo Pets. Sonic would reapear here.

*Or maybe the 3( Nintendo,Sony,Microsoft ) will join up to make one Mega Console with Graphic Power by Sony, Online Capabilities of Microsoft and Innovativeness of Nintendo. That would mean everyone would comeback plus more like Cloud, Master Chief, Marcus, Banjo, Etc.

Quite the pipe dream there... But that will never happen, that would just be one big Trust. And Microsoft is the only Domestic Company.
Still you can dream though. Perhaps in 5-7 years when all the next gen systems are old and new ones are being made, Nintendo will do their best to overpower everyone else. Especaly with them currently being Number 1 in japan, due to them hating the xbox and ps3 being expencive and only having WWII games. (if you want a WWII simulater, then get yerself a ps3 kids!)
