Got it all paid for and ready to go. I'm going to the tournament in a few hours. Thanks to youtube I'm a few steps ahead of a lot of people. The guys in gamestop knew nothing about Nintendo dropping Mewtwo for Lucario.
Of course I will probably pick Link as my main guy.

Yeah, but that doesn't mean it's as popular to people as Halo or GH. How many times do you see Smash in headlines? WAAAAAY less than Halo or GH.

Yeah, but that doesn't mean it's as popular to people as Halo or GH. How many times do you see Smash in headlines? WAAAAAY less than Halo or GH.

Halo gets in the headlines because it's an american made series, GH gets in the headlines because music artists make more money from GH then their own albums.  Even though the media doesn't pay attention to Super Smash Bros Brawl, you cannot deny it's following up with a cult base such as GH and Halo. The first game was great.  A lot of people loved it. The Second game was better. The third is going to be even better (minus the fact that Mewtwo got dropped). Although you also have to understand unlike GH and Halo, Smash Bros games are only once every generation. There were 3 GH games released for PS2.
1 SB game released for N64, 1 for Gamecube, and 1 for Wii. Imagine if Gamecube had 3 Smash Bros games. There would be a lot more fans, but I think the reason why Nintendo is releasing one per system is just as a Nintendo compilation game. 
I didn't even get into Guitar Hero until the second game was released.

something cool I found out

apperantly, you can still keep carrying items while using the c-stick (yes, they turned off the zoom feature and allowed smashes only) like for example

marth carries a beam sword and uses his other sword and if thats cool, the c-stick will not let items go away but instead treat them as smashes

so like marth, metaknight, Ike, link, Toon link, can be dual wiledin' jedis!  how awesome is that?

Damn I cant friggin wait anymore! I wanna play my mains from Melee. today has been pretty quick for me though, seeing as how I spent the whole day getting achievements for CoD4 All thats left is to beat the last 3 missions on legendary.

Me and a few people went to a tourney earlier.....SUPER SMASH BROS. BRAWL PWNS MELEE in too many ways to list. I did lose,  but it's cool, going to another at 10!  Honestly, the controls are a bit weird, but not unbearable. I actually did better than the other people, I picked Fox, and so did my opponent. I only lost because I wasn't familiar with the new items. Went in for the kill and BOOM!!! Pretty much screwed me. Gearing up at the crib to go and whoop some Brawl butt! Good luck people!

P.S. It saddens my to say, but I'm not even interested in Melee anymore...after playing Brawl it seems so boring... ANYWAYS, I'm glad to say this game didn't dissapoint me in ANY way.

Hm. I'm getting my copy at Best Buy (no preorder at GS, and I don't want to take my chances), and I'm still gonna enter GS' tourney.

Can't wait to have some English in the game I'm getting used to the jap one for the past month.
