How do i turn down the sound effects so i can hear the music louder ?

I put that hot butt song by jefferson airplane ask alice on a stage but the sound effects by the players drowned out the song how do i turn the sound effects down

First of all, open Mugen.cfg with notepad. Scroll down until you see Sound configuration (Windows), edit the MP3 volume to 255, the Wav volume to 180 and the Mod volume to about 190. Since the music is on an mp3, I believe you'll hear that much better.
