They should be japanese, or at least korean. IMO Robin Shou would have been best to play as Goku.

There's already a Korean version AND a Taiwanese-Filipino version. Look at this:

A poster from the Korean one:

And a poster from the Filipino one (Dragon Ball: The Magic Begins)

The U.S.A. Dragon Ball Live action movie project was anounced a very long time ago, but it was just a rumor until now, I see. There was a Piccolo make-up test, which is this one:

I wonder what the hell will happen in this movie's release...

Hey you know the saying.
If Asia messes up something made by Asians, then Americans sure as hell, can only f@ck it up even more.
I mean look at all the anime that is crappily edited before it comes to the states.

Before America: Yu-Gi-Oh rated PG-13
After America: Yu-Gi-Oh rated G

Goku in the japanese version actually swears a lot.
After watching the entire dub by Funimation, I can't even imagine Goku swearing once.
I like the voice actors in Funimation, but I think the voice acting in Ocean was a bit more mature.
In one of the movies by the Ocean dub, Bulma swears.

They only made uncut because people got pissed at them with all the editing.
Eventually parents got pissed off and took this off of cartoon network and replaced it with the crappy censored version. lmao, I remember Vegeta used to swear all the time in that saga.

8=| Can't wait to see the rest of my childhood be flushed down the toilet by Hollywood,
They already did away with X-Men, DoA, SF, Resident Evil, ... Speaking of SF, they're making a new movie, and the main character is Chun-Li... While I think Chun-Li is awesome, I think it should be more about Ryu and Ken.  Oh and the girl that played as Lana Lang from Smallville is going to play as Chun-Li, I'm not happy about that. She looks nothing like Chun-Li.
What's next? A Hollywood version of Sailor Moon. Oh wait, no. They already tried that.

Good thing it got canned before it aired.

Although the thing that bothers me the most is, they called it Dragonball Z, when they should have been straight and called it Dragonball. What's the point of calling it DBZ when it's not going to start out with Raditz trying to kill Goku and Piccolo?
Seriously, the directors only know the background of the characters story (who's friends with who/enemies), but they don't know which time in the story it took place, which not only makes them bad directors, it also makes them total n00bs as well.

lol @ dude laughin in da background

The movie is titled "Dragon Ball", NO Z. It is mostly based on the beginning of Dragon Ball [ie Goku meeting Bulma, Roshi and Yamcha] and the end [ie Goku fighting Piccolo Jr. at the tournament].

There are a bunch of leaked pics already of the actors on set.

When I get home, I can post the pics. For now, here's the confirmed cast:

Goku = Justin Chatwin
Piccolo = James Marsters
Bulma = Emmy Rossum
Yamcha = Joon Park
Roshi = Chow Yun Fat
Mai = Eriko Tamura
Chi Chi = Jamie Chung

-Wolverine

The first X-Men movie was great, but the 2nd was well, I expected something more then the guy that created the adimantium project, like Mr. Sinister, or Master Mold, hell even Apocalypse would have been a better enemy for the 2nd film, and killing off Lady Deathstrike in the end made me want to beat the director to a bloody pulp.
The third movie. Just ugh. I don't even know where to being. Okay, how about the beginning, Jean kills Scott, everybody pretty much dies, or turns human, and they used the whole Sentinel clip from the Danger Room just to promote the god damn movie. So I expected a ton of sentinels to go and destroy people. Why they even bothered with that scene was just pointless and retarded.
The only good X-Men film is the first. I like the people that play their characters, but the director of the film just know how to rape a story line.

The second movies would of been better for the Wolverine movies. I enjoyed 3 very much. Remember this is a film, money goes into effects...I guess. So they can't cram everything you want into it. Besides I would have hated to see them fight giant Sentinels. The director was brave to go into the plot of the Phoenix, and I really hope to see another. Keep in mind when watching these films that they NEVER be like the comics.

.....but I did hate what they did about Psylocke....really hoping thats Revanche  though.

Well I thought the movie was awful and sloppily put together. Deathstrike is one of my fav villains in X-Men, and they even ruined her by making her a female wolverine. I mean wtf, she's a cyborg, not a mutant with rengerating powers.

If they make another X-Men movie, in my lifetime, it will be too soon. They just raped the good image of X-Men that I had from my childhood. F@cking hollywood directors.
At least the first Spiderman film was nearly spot on, except it was Mary Jane instead of Gwen Stacey.

Yes, I fully agree that they messed up big time on Yuriko, However I feel that she was casted really well.(I think Kelly Hu is hot and fit Yuriko really well.) Its the same they did with Sabretooth in the first film, you cant kill them off like that. Being two of Wolverines biggest enemies.

Spiderman was fine. 2 was ok, three....Well I thought putting the 2(Venom and Sandman) together was a bit odd, and out of place. Eddie Brock was not a scrawny weakling. I did like the way that they kept Gwen Stacey alive...personally I prefer her to MJ....but who knows. I wouldn't mind another one with Carnage in it...but I think they should leave it alone.

I didn't say it was the actress that played as Deathstrike that made the character bad. I agree, I think Kelly Hu was a great actress for Deathstrike (keeping in mind that the movies Yuriko is based on Ultimate X-Men). They got all good actors, just the director made the series a turn off at the last two films. I mean Cyclops was like one of the X-Men's main guys, it was horrifying to watch him die at the beginning of the movie. They made Pheonix seem like some type of Michael Myers/Jason Vorhees serial killer instead of an all Godly being. In the comics, The phoenix is a immortal fire bird (based off the mythologies), that takes over Jean's body.
In the movie they just made her as if she was born as Dr. Jeyckl (I know I didn't spell that right) and Mr. Hyde. It was just very retarded, and they never introduced Gambit into the series. They only showed his name on Xaviers computer in the second movie. God I hated the whole Bobby+Rogue thing. If they do make a 4th movie (God forbid they kill off another important character), I hope Rogue leaves Bobby so he can be with Kitty Pride, and Rogue can hook up with Gambit. I think in the film series it would make sense that either Rogue gets into a relationship with Gambit (it would also help introduce him as a new main character), or her to get into a relationship with Logan (Logan is pretty much immortal, and he probably looked like he was in his 30's when Jean was born, so I think they established that age means nothing to Logan).  I just think it would make sense, because Jeans dead, and Rogue and Logan have been close since the first movie. Blah, although I really don't want them to make a 4th movie because I don't think I could stand seeing another one of my favorite super villains dying.

Although in the movie its never clear if she really did kill Cyclops, I hope not, but you never know. Mystique losing her powers? God,why?! Yes I agree about the Rogue/Bobby thing, break it off. Phoenixhad that whole, ugly vainey, black eyed appearance was....ugly. If they do indeed make a fourth, I would think that the ending of the third film would leave it open to, not only, introduce Gambit, but introduce Apocolypse as well. I would like to see Rogue gain her Ms.Marvel(or was it the scarlet witch?) powers. But yeah thats it. I haven't followed the comics after the whole Weapon X thing but I know as they keep going it gets more and more confusing with the whole time traveling and Jean being alive.....I need to buy those three last ones their coming up with(are they even out?).

lol at the off topic-ness XD

Ultimate X-Men Deathstrike [2005] didn't come out until after X2 [2003]. Also, if Singer stayed to do X3 instead of the God awful Superman Returns, he would've included Gambit. Hell, in the Second movie, he originally intended to have Gambit, Marrow and Beast in pain during the mind attack from Prof. X showcasing that as the cause of Beast's blue transformation.

I haven't followed the comics after the whole Weapon X thing but I know as they keep going it gets more and more confusing with the whole time traveling and Jean being alive.....I need to buy those three last ones their coming up with(are they even out?).

lol at the off topic-ness XD
Yeah it's Ms. Marvel. What happens is Ms. Marvel is too dangerous or something. I can't remember, and Mystique is teamed up with Rogue, and Rogue absorbs Ms. Marvel's powers, but I think she decided to let her live. I am disappointed that it's been 3 films already and it hasn't happened yet. It will probably happen in the next film because of her losing her powers. I think in the next movie, they wouldn't just go right in to apocalypse, but I'm not ruling it out since F4 fought Galactus in their 2nd film. I think though they would at least fight Mr. Sinister first (he's probably my favorite X-Men supervillain).
On topic: I am sure that USA is going to screw up DBZ, I mean they already have. The movie takes place in the DB timeline and not in the DBZ timeline. It doesn't deserve the name DBZ. I'm going to laugh if the director makes it as if Goku and Bulma are in a relationship.  :D OMG the DBZ movie is going to be incredibly stupid. Hollywood directors can't even get USA comic movies right. How in the hell are they supposed to manage Japan's manga?

Well, seeing as how they skipped so much in X3: They skipped Dark Phoenixs' plot with Mastermind and absorbing the star. They went right to when she come back to Earth. They most likely will take on Apocalypse.
Straying from X-men. Not only is the Wolverine getting his own movies...but it looks like the Silver Surfer is gunna have his own movies as well.

On Topic: I won't say anything until a Trailer comes out.I hope they don't give Goku his tail....awkward.
