I agree with the artistic depth and quality that goes into hentai, some being better than actual anime shows and all. I'm not a fan of anime at all though, so I really don't care for hentai. It really goes off the deep in with things. I'm not going to go into detail and all, but some things I've seen in hentai, makes me dislike anime even more.

Also, hentai creates 'otakus'. Hardcore fans that lose perception on real life, and care only for their cartoon based porn......

To each his own I guess, but I one for one don't like it, and don't feel it's a healthy endulgence.....

i disagree,hentai doesnt create otakus,you are getting the term wrong,the anime AND the manga create otakus not the hentai or the ecchii

There's a lot more disturbing stuff that happens in the real world that you most likely won't see in any H film (not sure about manga since it's not sold in USA).
It's just entertainment (adult entertainment), that while entertaining, should never be taken seriously.
Although I think the funniest part of hentai, is in Japan, it's mostly girls that are in that business (story writers, artists, etc).
Just an easy way of getting money while expressing artistic talent, I guess.

I don't care for live porn because it requires a lot less talent (if any at all), and in the end, it's just someone's offspring, I mean, I would personally hate it if I had a kid, and she would grow up to be some sort of sex icon, and communications between the family would just end up awkward, and then you end up worrying about what that guy down the street might be thinking of your daughter because he may have seen one of her videos.

I don't know. Maybe I'm just growing up.
