Does anyone else have this problem?

Ok, I go into watch mode right. I start up the match and press Ctrl+1 so I can play as the first player. BUT, for some reason, lately I've been doing this and it hasn't been working. WTF!?! Is there a certain time you're supposed to press the buttons?

im pretty sure you have to press it during the chars intro but i may be wrong  if the chars you use have a short intro that could be why this is happening. Or i could be completely wrong but anyway hope this helps a little

just press it repeteadly until it works

maybe u should see if Debug keys are allowed on your mugen (not sure if this may be the problem)

Actually, I found out that I only have to press it once. It works fine now. Thanks anyway though.
