I'm done with ALL of the specials!  :w00t: Now, I'm going to finish up the flame teleport, and then... the supers! (where's the superman icon when you need it...??)

After due consideration, I've decided to implement the multi air ice clone move... replacing the old air ice clone move... and now the opponent doesn't stay in the air... I'm still working on it... lol.....

I am going to work on the flame teleport, though.... that's definitely being worked on very soon. I will also be showing another WIP video, once the first super is 100% complete... which again... should be soon... maybe in a week... 1 1/2 weeks... maybe 2 weeks... idk... lol... coding takes time! :D

(Yes, I did get another video recorder program... so I will be able to record videos again... just got it recently...)

News...

I've finally finished all of the special moves (including the flame teleport)... I've only encountered one problem with it, so far... so I'm going to get that fixed... hopefully tomorrow...

Next in line... the supers! I'm already 2% done with them, because I have most of them planned out already.. :)

I've also found a very good AI Programming tutorial.... so... I'll be reading that, after I'm finished with the supers, and hopefully i'll be done with that... then Chameleon will be released!

Also, the next WIP vid is coming soon... I want to get at least 1 or 2 supers done before I make the last WIP video...

Expected/Very Well Estimated Chameleon v1.0 release... October 5th, 2008...

I still need to get a lot done... so again... it's only an estimated release... I'm still learning how to code supers, too, so it will take some time for those to be done...

Chameleon's 5th and final WIP video is finally here!

I'm already 20% done with Chameleon's supers! (or 15%... I'm not really good percentage wise... :DxDie)

Yes, the first super is coded, and the 2nd one... I'm almost done with ALL of the
animations... The first super is kinda simple, because it is my first one... I plan to update it later, definitely...

Thanks for your comment. I didn't put the slide move in the vid, because it didn't change at all really... only the command input did... I was tired of the old command input.. WAY TOO HARD TO DO! :D I also realize that I didn't show the new ice move in the video... let's just say... it glows now... ;*)) really sorry for not showing it... It will definitely be in the v1.0 release video, though...

just watched the 5th vid :thumbsup: for progress. =D>

-are you planning on a directional or diagonal spear?
-i like the short jump. is that only for moving backwards?
-your missing an aerial kick. when you jump straight up its not the same as jumping F or B and kicking. its kinda like a split.
-your acid spit looks like its not hitting?
-your force ball is HUGE. im guessing thats the sprite you said you've been looking for?

I'm planning for a diagonal spear to be used in a super move... but not as a special. :-??

Yes, the short jump is the 'Hop Backwards' animation. I'm missing an aerial kick...?? *Scooby voice* eerrrr??

The acid spit does hit... I just gotta change the p2's stateno... or add one... that move is actually still a work in progress... off and on... ;)


Yes, the force ball is huge... Yes, it's the sprite I have been looking for... I got it from a secret place... :-$ I actually plan to make that hi-res looking, because I don't think it looks that good right now... with the black around it... and it looks a little too spritey while playing as Chameleon... so... I'm definitely updating the sprites soon...

Newly expected 1.0 release... 9/30/08 .... only if I can get help coding Chameleon's AI... :D

Yeah, unfortuantely I cant find a pic or vid of it but when ninjas jump straight up:
Their back is turned towards the screen
Depending on the side, that leg is bent (left/right)
Char kicks diagonally out toward the opponent with the opposite leg

This is the closest example i can find.


The kick has been the same for the ninjas in all the MK's until they went 3d.
