Shippu Jinrai Kyaku was made into a Lvl 3 Hyper for the project, which is why it uses 3 super bars. Ken now has 4 hypers, so why not make one a lvl 3?

Shippu Jinrai Kyaku was made into a Lvl 3 Hyper for the project, which is why it uses 3 super bars. Ken now has 4 hypers, so why not make one a lvl 3?

Yeah, Scar said over at Ken's WIP that if you button mash kicks during the hyper, you add more hits to the attack, so that hyper got made to level 3. So far I've got a max of 26 hits.

@Glux247: Try rapidly pressing one kick button and you may be able to squeeze in over 30 hits. It's possible with two kick buttons, but takes more work.

Ok, at first I thought it was just me, but no. Ryu is ridiculously STRONG.
ex: LP, LK, MP, HP, Launcher, LP,LK,MP,MK, Fierce Tatsumaki = 10 11 hit air combo that does more damage than a super. Replace Tatsumaki with a hyper (Hadoken or Tatsumaki) and that combo does a hair shy of 50% damage. as much damage as his Shin Shoryuken!!

Edit: Dude, you can chain his Standing HP into the Launcher... Wow.

nice updates your ryu feels a lot more mvc :), but his hyper combo portrait just doesn't feel right
the portraits are supposed to appear when the special is launched and a small pause time should come. then the portrait goes away the instant the special is done. ur ryu's portrait for both punch specials just flashes and dissapers quickly before special is launched. the portrait stays too long when you do his kick specials.
another thing when doing his spin kick special and hadouken special the SHINKUU sound doesn't fit in too good. it sounds weird like it wasn't supposed to be there

Thank you so much Scar for trusting me to create this AI. I love how the character was made and hopefully the AI matches. It took me a ton of time to make it really competitive; Hope I didn't dissappoint.   :thumbsup:

*Heads Up*

I just got the updated version yesterday from Scar's site. This Ryu has some issues he didnt have before:

~When doing hyper combo's on the ground they execute below where the chars stand
~After the Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku is over the wind/dust stays on the ground until rounds over or done again
~There is a forward lunge with his elbow that makes him unsusceptable to projectiles *not sure if thats a glitch or not

I didnt know if this was a problem with the char itsself or the new AI :-??

found a problem: ryu's hyper hurricane kick move (forgot the name) doesnt hit small chars like servebot and on all chars that i tested it on the vaccuum effect works against works against ryu and pushes all cahrs out side of the hit range of the move. it doesnt suck them in like it should

I'm sorry. I thought i fixed all of teh bugs, but there might ahve been some AIR changes that I overlooked or had changed. I will be updating the Ryu AI Patch, but the files will be from scar's newest version on his site  :).

Hopefully there will be no bugs. BTW, if you all could please, post teh glitches here and PM me with the glitches, or (the best place)  you could leave the comments on the video I gave to qwer on YouTube (if you ahve an account)
