Thanks to all the sprite work done by xboy, we've been able to complete Human Torch. Give him a test run an let us know what you think. I think we've caught all of the bugs but feel free to report any you may find.

1) yes those are the project lifebars

2) I ment to pack in Dead X's stage but I had forgotten. When I go through and re-release all my released characters, each one will come with a stage. (This will happen post project)

3) 4 supers, two of which can be done in the air and 2 hypers which both can be done in the air... that's pretty balanced if you ask me... But hey, every character could use another few hypers :)

very fun character, but there are definitely a few things he needs to make him feel more solid and polished.

- walking forward and backward sprites. this should be easy, just have him use what he has now, but leaning a bit forward or backward as he moves. kind of like what storm did in marvel vs capcom.

-his jumping sprites look kind of weak. maybe redraw them a tad.

-his backdash should make a whooshing noise like his front dash does.

-he should leave some flame after effects as he moves around. this would really make him look like hes on fire. kind of like how pyron does it in darkstalkers. his jump would definitely benefit from this, as would some of his attacks. definitely his dashes.

-he needs a throw. maybe something like he had in rise of the imperfects or ultimate alliance where he hugged you, flew offscreen, and came back down, slapping you headfirst?

-he needs an animation for his taunt. if you don't give him that, at least make him not hop in his stance when you press the button for it.

-he needs a blocking sprite.

-though I'm not a big fan of characters having MVC styled flying, if one guy could benefit from it, it would be him. He also definitely needs air dashes, maybe even 8 way so he could MVC triangle jump like storm, magneto, and iron man.

all the above criticism aside, this guy is fun and a welcome addition to my roster. thanks for the hard work and effort, thanks for the character. I can definitely see this guy shaping up to be one of those crazy combo characters. given some work.

Yeah...it`s a pretty good idea for the youngest Storm brother...
BTW,besides the debug flood that i got while testing him,i noticed that his flamethrower hyper does too much damage...check it out...

342 points of damage out of 1000:that would mean that the hyper is too powerful for a level one i guess...

the only real bug I can find right now, is when using the taunt, it freezes the character temporarily..that is about it for now
