whats so good about this one?
It won't crash due to memory errors as much, hence the title Better Memory performance.
That was a big problem I had a year ago. Although now I use separate mugens so I don't overload the memory.
Trust me, more things in your mugen = that much more memory used.

Ive been using this mugen since i first started mugen. i use to use mugen plus but that doesnt have some fixes including the stage fix. So ive used this one. ive never used the one that you guys use. I used that thrice and i could never make it to the last boss. If you want to compare then just rename this exe so it wouldnt overlap yours and thats all u need. u really dont need the other stuff cuz you already have it. but inside the mugen cfg file, you have descriptions for EVERYTHING unlike your current one. U just have to translate it to see what all it says. I just prefer this one over any of the others. Thats just me. You be your own decider ;)

Mine crashes at times near the last of the rounds but not always. But with me and the mugen yall use i rarely made it that far. I use ogg for everything. Mp3's suck for mugen for some odd reason.

Considering my roster number is in the double digits, I guess I won't have much use for this. But what kind of memory errors are we talking about?
Punctuation and capitalization can make the difference between "I helped my uncle, Jack, off a horse," and, "I helped my uncle jack off a horse."

92% of people have moved onto rap. If you're part of the 8% who thinks rap isn't music, sucks to be you.

Most newer stuff sucks, though.

Tis why my roster is small and as balanced as possible.

lol. That happened with my XmenvsMarvel screenpack awhile back so I cutted out the intro, and stopped the music from playing.
Now I don't run music in my mugen anymore.
It's just a hassle.
@ Teros, I know how you feel, which is why I'm running 4 mugens at the same time.
I don't even use my EVE screenpack anymore. XD

when your ram is really really low for example below 256 the standard your computer will automaticly take your roaming memory and use it for ram this is very dangerous i recommend buying ram.

and also you mean to tell me with one gig of ram mugen still crashes JESUS!!!!!!!  :o.

yeah i got like 150 chars and 350 stages....
to have more ram accessible, try turning of running programs that u arent using while playing mugen. Ram boosters "help" in restoring ram size quickly, u could try that too. but during gameplay if u do.....well lets just say thats not wise to do.

Nothing is better in this WinMUGEN EXE. It is EXACTLY the same WinMUGEN hack that is made by RouHei @ http://unofficial-winmugen.jpn.org/

Check the CRCs or do a hex compare.

well you should get two computers with the same specs and etc.

one runs this so called "Better Memory Performance WinMugen"

vs.

this hack: http://unofficial-winmugen.jpn.org/

also both of them should have the same characters and stages and stuff.

then we will know if this "Better Memory Performance WinMugen" is true.

Nothing is better in this WinMUGEN EXE. It is EXACTLY the same WinMUGEN hack that is made by RouHei @ http://unofficial-winmugen.jpn.org/

Check the CRCs or do a hex compare.

( i knew that was coming sooner or later - its always that one person )...............if its the same......well let me just say this, back then before the second player fix was configured in mugen.....this exe right here was the first one to get it waaaay before the one rouhei did. the website i got it from looked different from the one now. it was all black and had chibi chars in it too. i knew it was the same site because it had that mtv 009 part in it. in the old site i recall it saying something about the better performance. as i translate that page it doesnt say anything about it. it translates to this:

The download of WinMUGEN itself

Difference with the birthplace

    * The English part of the texts as much as possible harmony meaning
    * Additional replacement of constitution file
    * In addition, statement to bundled instruction manual

Download(07/01/02 renewals)

so....i may be losing it but who knows. but it did contain all those mugen fixes back then that the rouhei one didnt have yet. that was the main reason i chose this one over the rouhei one. or maybe rouhei is this guys friend or something and gave it too him before he updated his own site with it. who knows. noone HAS ta get it. if ya do ya do, if ya dont ya dont. no big deal regardless.

as for nick09, or you can just put the exe in the same folder as your other mugen exe but rename it so that it doesnt overlap and test like that. both exe's can be executed from the same folder with all current chars, stages, and settings.
