How does one go about the tedious process of sprite ripping?

What programs do you need?

How do you do it?

etc.

A guy told me one time, "Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner."

As I've mentioned, the sprite ripping poprocess usually varies be what program your using to run the game. ZSNES and WinKawaks tend to have the most useful methods for sprite ripping, as you can remove bakground layers (and WinKawaks has the nice 'shots factory' options.

Of course, as everyone here posted, Animeget is extreemley useful as well.
