I can't stop playing as Evil Ryu. Since this is downloadable off the Main Site, I'm going to use him in my new game (release time pending, probably June 2008), Mega Brand Invasion.

Without permission? Isn't that why the dl link was posted? 

(I'm new to the mugen world, so I don't know the conventions and ethics etc---I don't understand why they guy is getting static.)

well u supposed to ask when ever using someone else's stuff, cuz other than that it would just be stealing

if you are using him in your own personal for fun mugen, there's no problem with it. that's why the link was posted.

if you are adding him into a game and then releaseing it to the public, for download, THAT'S bad.

Ah. Since I've only gotten torrented packages so far, I'm not up on "personal mugen" yet.

no problem man. it's tough to learn in the beginning, and most people tend to snap about leechers before explaining things. if you got any questions just ask. I'm sure guys aroudn here will be willign to help.

torrented packages are kinda looked down upon, because that's basically example 2 that I mentioned, but honestly it's the only way to get some characters.
