"Here is Gouki/Akuma for M.U.G.E.N.
Gouki is an Ansatsuken user, much like Ruy, Ken, and his older brother Gouken, but with the dark side of the art, known as the Satsui no Hado (Surge of Murderous Intent), Gouki became a very prominent practitioner of the style, and further submounted himself as the Master of the Fist. His brother Gouken disliked his views, seeing how Gouki gave up his humanity to become even stronger than any normal human could become. Because of this trade-off, Gouki is very strong and versatile.
Gouki has many different moves that fit many different ranges and situations. Some are meant to zone out the opponent (Hadoukens), some are meant to close the gap between them (Ashura Senkuu, Hykakki Shou), and some are meant to create a very dangerous unga bunga, also known as rushdown (Air Fireball).
With all those moves in mind, they are also great for counters and have great combo-ability. Gouki has plenty of supers as well. They are meant to fit three different situations having to do with distance. He has the Messatsu Gou Hadou for when long range is taken into account. He has the Messatsu Gou Shoryuu when things get more close-ranged, and is also the most optimal super to end a combo with. Finally, he has the Messatsu Gou Rasen, which also works at short ranges, but also works for opponents who intend to jump in or are in the air right above Gouki. His Misogi and Shun Goku Satsu supers fit any range that isn't full-screen.
Gouki, upon fully giving in to the Dark Hadou, achieves his next form (note that I say "next form" because it's not his final form), known as Shin (True) Gouki. Shin Gouki is much faster and hits way harder than he used to. He gains a lot of new moves, including the Misogi, which in some games is a one-hit KO (but not this version).
Gouki's A.I is no joke either. He appears to be much more aggressive than my others, and as per usual, he zones out from afar and does devistating combos up close. When I say it's no joke, that's just how he appears for me. For some he could be a cakewalk.
I'll recreate DIO Brando for my next conversion. Stay tuned for that one, because it will be a difficult project. I'll insert the obligatory Kono Dio Da joke here.
|BTW| Gouki's moves appear to be much less polished simply because I wanted him to incorporate an older style since his move-set came before Ryu's and Ken's.
Also, I use both Akuma (USA) or Gouki (JPN) because I want to cater to the best of both worlds, since I know people call him either by name. Sorry for the confusion.
