I know that many creators are against the thousand leaks and that they prefer to release their work once they are finished, without leaving too many things on standby. But I ask if there is an official voice for what concerns the game of Batman created by the Unlimited team. Is it still being processed (though slowly)? The Unlimited team still exists? I mean: I do not intend to ask "when will the game come out?", But only if you are still working on it.

I hope not to ask too much, but the site has not been updated since 2009 and since then it has always been on my favorite list: D

He has been working on that game since his Scruffy days.
Sadly, someone leaked an unfinished Hydroman back then... so yeah... you can always thank leakers and leechers for taking creators' motivation.

For The Unlimited, we are still working. Slower, for sure, and with a much smaller roster of active creators now.

We can give you guys one additional update: the game has an intro - sprite-wise, that is (.psd files). It hasn't been coded yet.
This intro contains 15 different panels with layered parts for animation. They cover characters and events in Batfamily history.

Here's one old panel of ours and our take on recycle screen in arcades.

I went through a bunch of bases for urban environment before replying to MatreroG's post and felt it was a good opportunity to improve the intro scene of Batgirl Cassandra Cain/No Man's Land. I will not post the entire animation, but there's Spoiler and a bunch of snaps of thugs attacking Batgirl.



Bases: Garou, Full Throttle, Metal Slug, SF3, Pang, Aggressors of Dark Kombat, Savage Reign. I really do not remember the base for Cassandra's torso (maybe Shock Troopers? FF?), but the head is traced over a comic book panel with a lot of scratch.
