Yes, I liked that idea a lot. I remember someone were making a game like that on the past (can't remember who), but I know your version will rocks.

Few questions:
- Will you use the same lifebar from the other projects?
- Have you thought about the roster (size and players)?
- Do you plan to add some interactive on the stage, since it's a complete game?

A$AP Buckus asked for permission to use my sprites to do one project like this, but it was 4 years ago dont know if he did some public post or if still working on it.
...
Nope, im still testing chars, because i need something simple, is the only (easy) way to convert beatnup chars to a fighting game, i cloned so much basics when i did it with haggar and guy, and dont wnt to do same here, it may be a 3 buttons game, and before move to others chars i must be sure about this 2 be complete.
....
i dont have a plan to roster yet, but im sure this resize will not work to all MIW chars,
....
yea maybe, but like i said, i started this project this weekend, i dont have a full plan yet, im sharing to see what people tink about it ....

I think maybe shrink both chars then maybe that will open up more roster choices so the sprites won't look stretched and maybe increase stage size to a battle storm classics gameplay style.

Fewer buttons would be unique/nice. You could dedicate a special button that would change type by input similar to your bor justice league, a hyper button like miw, and jump mechanics from justice league united (for more varied walled stages/traps/pits)...basically I would combine both aesthetics from your bor games with strikers of chars you don't want to make full.  That way you free yourself up for lots of possibilities and can focus on a main roster.

Ex. If you made storm a main you could make ice man a bridge maker (depending on your stage) Ala genesis. ..or archangel fly through the stage for a limited time shooting feathers with a time bar. On the dc side it would work the same depending on donated sprites you can have Martian manhunter or batman call justice league international members for certain effects ie. Booster Gold could slow down time

With all respect to you...I don't think this is a good idea at all. He will just loose details doing this (although Mugen scale is better than OpenBOR one).

But I liked the helpers idea. This could help to bring more people to the game without having to code a whole character. For example, the idea behind MIW (where each character is tied to a helper) could work here.

@ O

Yeah I'm not sure how it works. I was thinking it would easier to shrink the dc sprites to the miw sprites cuz maybe you wouldn't loose as much detail as oppose to making the miw sprites bigger to match dc...I see from the video the fidelity of cap to batman slightly warped

I think both bases fits the characters (while the first one is better).
