Hey guys!!
I will take u a journey back in the glory days of Mugen where Mugen was more popular than it is today!! Those days we had more creators who wanted to create their own Mugen chars plus there were a lot of promising projects back then!! Those creators were indeed very talented!!
Here are some wips that I really anticipated for years!! Unfortunately some of these wips are dead because their creators retire or their progress froze or a quite amount of time passed without any progress shown!!
Of course if u know more news about these u can share them if u want!!
Hulk by Sic: This was was pretty awesome wip since it had a different base than the one overused for Hulk!! I also liked his colors!!
Batman & Robin by Angelecks: This was a very cool wip that had the same technique as Cable/Hope Summers!!
Superman by Trexrell44 and Spooky: Why I love this wip? Because its far away than a Kal Elvis Superman edit!! I like his design and his face!!
Lobo the duck by Sic: As a fan of Amalgam chars I think this would be a very good addition to Mugen!!
Animal Man by Angelecks: A very promising wip that followed very close its progress. Unfortunately Angelecks retired but really hope some of the Unlimited Team fellas to continue his dream!!
Dr Strangefate by Enzo, Jeff, McCready and Magus: I really loved this wip and still cross fingers one day to be released!! I love also his stage!!
Hyperion by Kinghyp: I was big fan of this wip!! Unfortunately its creator lost all his sprites and then lost motivation and apparently retired!! I think Logansam will pay a good tribute for Hyperion through his version!!
Selene Gallio by Trexrell and Esn23: Another wip that I anticipated a lot!! I knew all her progress since its beginning and helped with ideas too!! Very pity that her progress froze!!
Songbird by Gate and Zvitor: A very nice wip that I think all Mugen Community anticipates for years!! Now this wip is in Zvitor's char however he is busy with his other projects such as MFA, Damian Wayne and Poison Ivy!! I still have faith on her!!
Drax the Destroyer by Amon-ra and Magus: A very good incarnation of Drax that I really hope to see in Mugen!!
Moonknight by Navs, Intermission and Angelecks: Another promising wip by Unlimited Team!!
Sebastian Shaw by Trexrell: Even at an early stage, this wip always created an excitement to me!! Dev is doing a great job in his version so we still have hope for a goos Shaw in Mugen!!
X-23 by Kojuhno: The first X-23 wip that it was shown for Mugen!! Even as a dead wip I think Logansam will do an excellent job in his version!!
Feel free to post your own anticipated wips or dead wips u had for years that unfortunately might not come true if u want!!
