The Nintendo Switch will not have a virtual console, at least not like before.
It looks like they're opting on going with a subscription service (because we all oh so love those?!). The subscription service will probably have quite a few titles less than the virtual consoles of the past. I've only heard that they might be starting with N64 and/or Gamecube games, first.

I don't get why they won't have a virtual console, if people loves it. Nintendo is too greedy sometimes.

Nintendo is an insufferable genius.

I'm sticking with my 3ds for now. Got the SNES Classic a few months ago. The virtual console was my main reason for eventually buying the Switch, but now that they wont even release anything remotely like it, without a subscription based service... nope.

Didn't the Wiiu have less classics than the Wii or the same?

I know the next mini console rumored is the N64 & Gameboy series.

Mortal Kombat XI might be hinted at already, with E3 2018 rumours...
I seriously hope this is true, considering the gap between MK9 & MKX, the same gap is closing between MKX & MKXI...

I could see it having an early 2019 release. I'm hoping for an early to mid 2019 release tbh (like March), so they can work out more of the kinks this time... Idk if anyone remembers the initial launch for MKX (especially on Steam, but talk about WHOOPSY!). They've vastly improved it though, and I could see them using the same engine and everything, but more refined. I always wonder what would be added, since MKX already has a lot of fun stuff, like the holiday towers they did. Those were hilarious to play! XD
