Wrapping up production on Blob & Pretty Boy for this update. I've squashed most of the problems with their transformations & am pretty happy with the outcome. I'll probably spend the next few days tweaking their damage, energy & compatibility with the rest of the roster. The next update for the game should be ready for release in 2 to 3 weeks.

Here are two new interactive stages that will be in the next update. If all my bug testing goes well the next update should be ready next weekend. I'll also release the Streets of Rage 2 stage that's in the video on Tuesday if anyone is interested in it.



@O'Ilusionista I'll think about adding that, but it won't be for this update.

Thanks. I'm thinking of making the team-up hyper where Jet flies in & drops grenades. Maybe he could even pick up R. Bear & fly him around the stage while doing power punches.

I think that R. Jet attack could be transformed into a Izuna Otoshi type of attack (flies and drops with the enemy, making him landing with his head on the ground - its what Hanzo or Strider does).

Nice idea making him grab Bear and flying with him. This could be one of his win poses.

Nice work! I liked how you recreated some of his SFA moves, congrats.
I have two suggestions:

- Change the layerno of the lifebars to 2, so it will be in front of everthing. Front layers are okay in front of the characters, but not over the lifebars.

- Its possible to change his arms positions while he jumps? Because he stay on that position on many frames. I think you can borrow the arms of some frames of one of specials.

Another playable character in the update will be Mustapha. Just need to tweak a few things, add some death sprites & he will be finished. I'm planing on releasing the next update on 11/15/2019. I have a few more surprises coming like the return on some Final Fight stages that were previously removed because of reworked interactive code, as well as some new finishers for bladed characters like Sodom. Try to get some video footage of those posted soon.



@.:O'Ilusionista:. Thanks for the tip on the lifebars. As for Sodom i'm tweaking the jump & getting his arms to move a little.

Btw the striker move at 0:25 could make the target land on his head, instead of just slamming him on the ground.

The return of Belger Mansion stage to the game. Changed the position of the starting area & made the stage smaller. Before it was a little to large & the chances of seeing the stage finisher was low. Now it starts close to the window for easier access.

Had to delay the release of the update until next weekend because I wanted to add Edi. E into the game. He is almost ready, just need to add a few more moves. Here is a preview of what I have so far. Finally getting a working Mugen 1.0 version of the game. So if I have enough time i'll get that released as well.

Mustapha move list video. Unfortunatly Sodom will not be playable in this update. Need more time to make custom sprites, but him & Mizuki will be playable in the following update. Also had to delay the release another week to finish up the Mugen 1.0 version because I want to release them all at the same time. The holidays kinda slowed me down.

Nice work on Mustapha.
Just a nitpick: when you have a char with legs position like him, you need to align using the foot which is higher and now the lower one. Or you will have that empty space bellow the higher foot.

Back working on the game again & have a few announcements. The character Jigsaw is far enough in production to announce him as a playable character. He will be replacing Poacher Joe on the roster & Joe will be going to the non-playable pool, but might return as playable later. Last announcement is that the game is changing from 6 buttons to 4 buttons. The reason for the change is to make the game simpler to play.
