I have changed the chest on the walking animation, as shown. I'm still working on the arms throughout the walk animation. Trying to get everything smoothed out.

Thanks. Because they are scaling.  The size of doom base is too small, so it had to be scaled. I'm working on that. Just took a break. I put everything on a sprite sheet to make it easier to cut, copy, and paste.

Maybe this is jumping far ahead, but does anyone have any Mister Sinister ripped voices from xml2? Or, is there somewhere I can get these?

Not sure about Dr. Doom as a base. The cape I know it's hard to sprite, but you have to spend more time on it.

So, I decided to do the walk animation nearly from scratch using doom as reference.

Currently, I'm working on adding more sprites in the stance animations to make much smoother transitions.

So, I decided to go with Captain America for the walking sprite edit. Doing it from scratch just gave me too many ideas and I can foresee being overwhelmed. So, Captain America, Yes, he is scaled differently; however, I did use the sinister stance as a guide behind the sprite this time.

Hey dude. It's great that you chose Mr. Sinister as a wip.

I've been around for a while, and I remember this guy named Killa tried something with Doc Doom for another character - Azrael. That was like >10 years ago.

Here's his concept. Doom + Sabretooth/Venom. It's a great idea to make the character bigger. Back then, we didn't have Urien sprites ripped, which is another option you have today.

Intermission and BigPimp IIRC, also provided us with a concept for Sinister that is mostly Urien. Might be worth checking out.

I wouldn't worry about the capes/stripes now. You can always sprite them later, same thing for the lines in Sinister's body. For now, it would be best to find suitable bases. Remember, they are best when they can be used for general movement and gethits, stuff you usually don't want to invest time because they are boring.

I've also noticed some common mistakes in your sprites: the axis in frankenspriting/movement and poor color choice. I've listed some sites you can check later, it will definitely improve your work.

http://scrollboss.illmosis.net/tutorial_index.php - Prime Op's site is a great place to learn.

First, I'd like to say: I have a new found respect for spriters everywhere. I did not know so much work went into creating these small; yet, very detailed images. Thanks so much for allowing me room to grow and the information to grow.

This is what I've been working on... Please don't be alarmed, I'm still working on the gloves/hands. I am still working on being a good artist at drawing hands and spriting period.
