So, another supposedly leaked image showing the full roster. Most of it looks legit, except for a few clashing portraits.

I can't take it serious. That background is the KoF XIII character select.

fake, strange portraits, some are retired from others games... and this is official portraits:

That's a placeholder, especially since the characters aren't grouped with their official teams.

as you can see, it is 3d portraits and not pictures, the background of that fake image uses the same as kof xiii as you can see here:

and also on the false image, has some image editing programs open.

The picture is a quick mockup with artworks and clearly NOT the actual select screen. Like I said most of it looks legit, all characters revealed so far are spot on on those artworks. The pictures clashing the most are those of Alice (clearly a cut-paste render from those pachinkos), the first character on the China Team and that "Official Invitation" team.

nakoruru comes from samurai shodown, samurai shodown is on the same world as the king of fighters them just occurs in differents times.

SS is not on the same canon as KoF. She's a guest, as is the rest of her team.

and nests or not, angel is a evil character, if king of dinosaurs are tizoc he has also nothing to do with a secret agent, as he is a Wrestler, and ramon and tizoc are good characters

You don't get Wrestling, do you? Wrestlers change from good to bad (Face and Heel) and vice-versa every now and then whenever they want to spice things up. So far it's never revealed if KoD is really Tizoc or if he's really a Heel Wrestler. Really, Chang and Choi are back to their criminal ways, why couldn't Angel become good?

There's really nothing to say whether it is or isn't either way. While it's true that SS never gets referenced in KoF, there's nothing saying that it couldn't have taken place in the KoF timeline, being so far back in the past and all. Besides, if Last Blade can be part of the KoF canon, (and it is, thanks to Eiji being Zantetsu's decendant and all,) why not SS?

And speaking of which, KoF might have it's own decendant from SS too. It took a while, but in SS Sen, the last game in the series, they added in Kim Hae-ryeong, who looks like Kim, shares a name with Kim, and even has some of Kim's moves. If that isn't a link to KoF, I don't know what is.

Liking what I'm seeing there though where Sylvie came from, is she newcomer? She looks quite interesting.
Was wandering if they gonna add anyone from AOF3, that game was good and with real smooth animation, but stragely no Sinclair or Rody, or anyone else made to KOF yet...

Part of that is because, well, let's face it; aside from Kasumi or maybe Sinclair, none of the new characters werea actually good. They weren't bad persay, but they just weren't very interesting, which is a shame, because AoF3 was a good game. At least we got Kasumi out of it.

Though I don't think it really matters anyway. The latest trailer all but confirms the latest leaks, which means the only new character from SNK's other fighters we're getting is Nakoruru. Speaking of which...

Yes, she's a new character. I must say, that design is quite over-the-top, even for KoF. Some of her moves remind me of Tesse from Waku Waku 7.

Either Karman Cole or Jin Fuha would be good additions.

SS does take place in a different canon. That's not to say a different Nakoruru can't exist in the KoF universe. KoF canon just takes the other games events into consideration instead of placing them in the same canon (like with the Fatal Fury canon, where AoF takes place 30 years before and Geese is dead for good).

A remaining survivor from the Nests cartel who can control electromagnetic power at will.

NESTS treated Sylvie as completely useless since she couldn't bring out her potential back when the cartel was around, but she later woke up to her powers and started making use of it in the underground fighting scene after the organization had demolished.

From there, she was scouted by the tournament organizer of the KOF tournament.

Not really. Thing is, she's not a really popular character and has almost no plot relevance outside of the Sacred Treasures arc.

I know.  Not only that, she's been out of the games for a long while too.  Thanks to her loosing her powers to Ash.   However, now that has been corrected, I'm sure they can make her relevant again.   She was just really fun to use and I liked her character.

I was holding out at least a little bit of hope, but not stupid enough to hold my breath on it.   She'll be back or she won't, nothing I can do about it.  I can still wish though.

...Aaaaaah. I get you. The SS games themselves take place in a different canon than KoF, just all of the non-KoF games do, but that doesn't mean the the characters and events of SS still couldn't have happened in KoF. Which really ends up sounding like a matter of semantics more than anything else. There's some differences between the FF/AoF and the KoF canons, sure, mainly due to the necessity of needing to have the events of the different games happen around the same time for KoF, but SS takes place so far back in the past that there shouldn't be any differences between what happened in the SS and KoF timelines regarding them. Having to say that the events of SS could still have happened in the KoF timeline rather than that SS is canon to it just sounds like a lot of needless workaround.

Naw, not Gaara, we just not used to see sand users in fighting games, usually it's flame, electricity, rarely ice or wind. And indeed he looks cool, liking new characters so far

Since Mai is back, I guess they're done with the physics engine. 

And if this new guy is supposed to be Brazilian, why is his name Spanish?
