Hmm, not sure how I feel about this. It doesn't look much different from SF4. Not sure if I like the idea of taking MVC's superjump/ariel combos and putting them into Street Fighter.

But I would be fine with all this if they move the roster and story forward, past the SF3 storyline. Don't make this sequel another version of Street Fighter 2.

The gameplay and graphics looks nice and crisp. Unless it's been officially confirmed. I'm not really sure that they will have superjump in this. It looks like Chun-li is doing some kind of special/super move that happens to take place in the air.

Given the gaming environment at the moment, it's a rather smart decision. My reasoning will be explained on the Coolercast this weekend.

I think it looks tight. They shouldn't be looking to change the overall type of game SF is, just bring us a new title to hammer out with the world by our side. What more could I possible ask for.

Hmmmmm the graphics do look pretty crisp, a nice step above sf4 noteworthy.
I just wanna see who is all in this one and hope it goes into a real sf5 vibe and be the after story of sf3.

My only main concern is that the roster is about the same as SF4, which would make a sequel pretty pointless. It would just be a graphical update of SF4. Else, I'm open to what they will do. I too would like to see what happens after SF3!

It was smart for Capcom to have the SF2 cast return in SF4, to trigger people's interest in SF again, since they were away for so long. Now that they are back in the forefront, they can give an almost all new cast if they wish, to move forward in the story after SF3.
After thinking about it for a bit, the graphics look a lot like SF4 and Ryu and Chun-li will forever be part of the rosters, but that doesn't necessarily mean SF5 will be a rehashing of SF4. Aside from similar graphics, there's really not much of an argument that this will be SF4 revisited, it's just an obvious concern we automatically have by the little that we are shown. Who knows, this could turn out to be the best SF game yet!?

Nope is either sony or pc. Phil spencer addressed it and congratulated sony on it and said they would rather focus on their own title(Killer instinct)

this is good for sony because if you want to play the game you are either need a ps4 or a good computer but it's stupid for capcom cause they need all the money they can get right now cause that money they got from sony isn't going to last.

As far as game play I think it looks good so far, I just hope they speed up the gameplay to at the very least sf3 or the alpha series. SF4 plays to slow for me

I am really looking forward more to the roster than anything else. Gameplay...I get it ...cool. show me who is in it and then I might be swayed to get it.
They def should progress from sf3 and upscale the cast with much more new faces and of course some sf3 ones . I hope ( and pray ) one specific character makes a return......R. Mika. I am satisfied if none of the other sf4 folks come over.  Fresh start to flesh out the story more. Thats what I am looking for..much more freshness of faces and maybe toss in a very few nostalgics. Roster more than likely will start off at 16 then here comes the dlc ones and all the other ultra omega super sf5 versions.
Oh and the break away stage stuff....smooth move.

I hope Makoto returns, I've grown to really like that character from SF3. She's one of the few SF3 chars I like. And how about Alex! SF4 practically brought back almost all the previous SF chars, but not him! Capcom must have seen that he wasn't as popular as Ryu and Ken and ditched him.
If they progress past SF3, I'd like to see an older Sakura, see where her story takes her, have her out of school and not wearing that school girl outfit anymore.

oh most definetly they should bring Makoto back. I love her in sf3 and sf4. Damn how I forget my baby!  I totally agree Twin on sakura, if they bring her back..make her older and no more school uniform. She a grown woman by now, do her right!. Alex was pretty cool to me. Not my tops dude tho. I take return of the twins too. I think in this one... bring moreso some sf3 like cast but not everybody tho, leave sf 1 and 2 folks in the past, bring in 2 or 3 alpha folks but older and more new original characters to make it still be fresh and vital.

Capcom has a chance to add more flavor with new sf5, so Capcom please dont go trolling and bringin back too many older ones. I can only imagine who the final boss would be. No no no akuma....someone fresh and not like seth, urien or gill...but powerful and evil enuff to feel keen to the story. Dont even get me started on a SF5 roster wishlist. Lol
