Character jump delays

This isn't an error but a gameplay problem. Whenever my char jumps while not walking/running it has a delay in which he cant do anything for about 5 seconds... i checked cns and cmd and stuff and i just CANT find anything to be connected to the problem.   ~X( (my character is not supposed to walk/run he can only jump so this is even bigger of a problem now... I am using n64mario's template (im NOT restarting the whole character it took me weeks to get here)

It's hard to say without actually having the character here to open and look at, but it's not something stupid in the AIR file with timing and ticks on either the JumpStart or JumpLand animations, is it?

ok so i messed around with sprites because it seems it wasn't code and apparently i had a blank jumpstart anim and that was causing problems...  o.O#
