Hey Guys!,

I thought I would finally let you guys see what I've been doing when i got free time.

I've been working on Hulk for a while now, but when i was about 60% done with his sprites i went back and looked at them and i didn't like them. I told my self, "if this is going to my my last character ever, It needs to be the best i can do." Soooo i went back and started re-doing all my sprites.

I completed removed the head from them all and made a brand new one from scratch. no base was used for the head. i had some size problems at first but I finally got it just right. i also did

of cleaning if sprites and just re-making some others.

HULK! will be my last character.... i went back a looked at everything i ever made for mugen, and i was happy to say i made the things i wanted in mugen.... but there was just one character i wanted to make but never did because there was already a lot of him, but none of them where the way i thought HULK should be.

People who know me, know my 2 favorite comic book characters are Joker and the HULK. you can say i kinda geek out over hulk.

so the bottom line is i plan to make my HULK the way i think he is meant to be......THE STRONGEST ONE THERE IS!

i'm not going to show you guys a lot of him but here are 3 sprites and just a small amount of the custom heads i have done for him.
next time you see him, he will be finished.

No Hulk envy here, no hate, I honestly say this because I really respect you bro... the face (eyes, cheek bone, teeth) really looks off. The eyes looks really cartoon-ish. The Monk beer belly is also kind fo out of place. I know with your track record you'll see your creations through to the end, I just want to be upfront and share my initial thoughts. You're going to make something crazy cool here!

I was always hoping you had a hulk wip.

I guess it depends what you are going for.. looks like an animated series hulk, but if not I would give him the two extra abs and separate eyes from his eyebrows and make the iris smaller.

but if it is a animated series hulk he looks dead on

I agree with Acey on that. His stance isn't cool, hulks like he is...how I can say...into some "white powder", if you get what I mean

Thanks for the input guys. My main goal is to make a hulk that doesn't look like ever other hulk. his head is not supposed to look anything like MvC. I want him to be one of a kind... I am very excited

about where this character is going so far, I'm very happy with him. and even if he gets no downloads at all

i know i made the hulk i wanted

Hi there, i like what you are doing, a new hulk is always damn welcome!
Just a suggestion, i think is right forearm looks a little "midget", needs more space to breathe between that arm and the hand! The legs could have a little movement as well, just to give the character a little more life in it´s stand position by relieving it´s stiffness.
Other than that, i am very excited with this project of yours, congrats and keep up the good work!

Wow Sic 1 making a hulk..that sounds exciting

. The sprite looks great...couple things though, i know your still working on it but maybe a little movement in the hair and a little less rip where belt is suppose to be?

I think what Acey and Illusionista are talking about is something similar to this :

I raised the arm on the right, copy and pasted the top of the gut lower because it looks like abs to me, gave him a proper rib cage & reworked the chest to match it all.

I´m sorry if i am being too pushy about this, but what about the other arm, hulk´s right arm...Am i the only one seeing it? Is forearm is to short, it looks weird, like is hand is misplaced..
