Doing Sprites Again...

New sprite idea, Death of the Endless from the DC/Vertigo Sandman comics.



Used various Dungeon Fighter sprite parts. Hope it looks good.

Finally got around to finishing this sprite idea.



Got the boots from CvS M. Bison, and got the fist from 'Super Robot Wars'.

Got a wild hair and after a while came up with this.


Edited the sprites to make them resemble their movie/cinematic counterparts.

Thor is just there for height purposes, didn't edit him at all. Just recolored the Hulk sprite to match the film version's scheme. The rest were definite attempts to remodel those sprites.

The one on the far right is Falcon without his wings. Trying to find/make said wings is proving to be a challenge. Made him using the Colossus from the X3 GBA game.


Credit for the Black Widow, War Machine and Hulk sprites goes to the original editers.

Hope they look good. Tempted to try and make sprites for the collected villains that have appeared so far. THAT or bring in Fury or Coulson.

and as intended, working on new Cinematic Universe-style sprites.

Agent Coulson, Red Skull, and the Abomination.


Used X3 Iceman for Coulson, had to really resize him in some aspects to make him proportional to other sprites.

Used Royce from Demon Hunter Legend and the head of the Red Skull from the Captain America and the Avengers arcade game to make the cinematic Red Skull.

Used the Abomination from the SNES Hulk game to make his cinematic counterpart.

Hope it looks good.

AND here's some new stuff.


Trying to make a WIP (*rimshot*) of Whiplash, using Sabretooth as the main base and the whip from Catwoman from one of the Batman Animated Series games and the chest piece of Ironman.

Used a pose from Captain America to make a version of movie-Batroc.

AND the Loki sprite isn't an edit... just trying to rip some sprites of Loki from the NDS Thor game. Noticed a distinct lack of movie Loki on spriting sites that have sheets for Thor, Odin, Sif, Volstaag, Fandral, Hogun and frikkin' THROG (the Frog-Thor) but not Loki.

Thoughts? Criticisms? Suggestions?

Trying to do another Fury sprite. This is a pose for a move idea that would basically involve the sociopathic cybiote snatching it's opponent by the throat with it's claw/grabber hand, chokeslamming them onto the ground and while still clutching them then... shoots them... point blank... right in the face with it's devastating energy arm cannon.



Still need to finish up some spots, add in some cables, maybe tweak the claw a bit... and perhaps add in some 'kirby energy dots' around the tip of the cannon.

Then perhaps make a version with some enemy grasped in said hand, slammed onto the ground.

trying to add more sprite poses to the 'Captain Britain' project that mcircosta and CrusaderCast are doing. As stated in an earlier entry in this thread... one of the special/hyper moves might involve Brian Braddock calling upon the multiversal 'Captain Britain Corps' to help put some smack down upon his opponent.

one of the Captains I'm working on is the incredibly obscure 'Captain Colonies', an apparent alternate reality Captain America that appeared in one Excalibur comic.

Mainly took that Fantastic Four 'Flame On' GBA game and resized and edited them to a more appropriate height and look. Hope you like them.

Gave it a more appropriate color scheme as well.
