I don't know about you guys, but this looks awesome!

I like 80's movies. They have a certain special feeling you can't get from other movies.
This movie looks to have all the right elements together perfectly. It feels almost like a cross between a movie and a video game.
This is a real thing and it's being finished to be at least a half-hour movie (on Youtube I'm assuming?) and if it reaches $1,000,000 it will have the potential of being made into a feature film!

Here's the kick starter, I've donated some money myself cause I want to see this!
If you have a few bucks to spare, here's the kickstarter. There's only a week or two left I think. I doubt it will make $1,000,000 at this point, but oh well.

i loved it! looks very cool, the fx the use to make it feel retro as well. the protagonist looks like johnny depp huh?

He does look a little like Depp, never noticed that before. He's the director of the film, so he gets to be the hero I guess.
I like the subtle touches to the video, like making it feel like you're watching a VHS.

I think in the near future I'm going to do a sprite edit of Kung Fury, I like this concept so much. It's so over the top. I just hope the writing for the dialogue is as funny as the comedy action bits in this trailer.

Now they're thinking of doing a video game to be released along with the feature film?
They're looking for artists to help with graphics. If you're interested, get in contact with the director!

Not sure if you can see the latest update from them, but they were talking about possible 8 bit, 16 bit graphics and maybe really old style 3D graphics, like the early days of 3D games.
