honestly they should aim that towards folks trying to make money off the videos by using certain video games or music they dont own rights to. be more strict on THAT. But others who do it for fun like me or those who make walk throughs to help others in video games or whatever should be left alone...if anything we are getting those video games and music artists more notice if it wasnt getting much at all.....Youtube is a great vessel for finding new cool music and video games as well as movies you knew nothing about....so eh that jokes on them and the flop of youtube if thats the case

....The fans are what keep it alive and popular IMO. i think it would be a complete dead zone if not for us fans

I think Youtube is cutting their loses with the gamers. They have so much more to use and abuse and using the gamers as a scapegoat is an easy way out. They still have a lot more content. Unless their is a massive migration of everything from Youtube it will only make a minor dent. Sounds like a situation where a boycott could actually work. I know I would if they cancel out Angrey joe show or Game Theory.

Thats a lot of gamers man. A LOT! After that it will trickle down to everyone else non gamer. the whole fun of mugen videos, game videos or even home videos with music in the back for fun will go dead asap. the whole free speech on youtube will be gone.

but we will see. theres companies and artists that dont care to take it that far. only thing that will be real crappy is guys like me or you or anyone else that posted tons and tons of videos that had music in stages that obviously we didnt create that was from a soundtrack or artist and it gets all deleted because its of course copyrights protected material in our footage not ours.

Think about all those great OST posted gone...id hate that man. thats how i get most of my music. off youtube

I have gotten a bunch of stuff flagged before this became a big thing. But I don't make anything off of it like the guys out there with good careers in youtube channels. I really hope they figure out a way to stop this.
