LadyDeathstrike SND problem

I keep get this error message with her in all of my screenpacks for mugen 1.0

Error message: Can't load LadyDeathstrike.snd
Error loading chars/LadyDeathstrike/LadyDeathstrike.def
Error loading p1

How can i fix this?

Quick method to let you in

open the .def file with notepad, put a ; in front of the sound line. There will then be no sound and the character will load.

Long method is work out which sound breaks her. Create a copy of the snd file as a backup. Open her with your favourite program and delete half the sounds in her snd file. Test. If it works it was one of those sounds. Restore the backup and delete half of what you just deleted. Retest, repeat till you find the problem and then just delete that. I don't recall this issue when i downloaded her... You may simply want to redownload the character.

this happened with havok last year, its one of the sounds in the template 230,3
delete that and it should work

also I have done this for the character, so you can re download her, to have this working automatically, sorry for the inconvenience, cheers

Unfortunately the download at mugen multiverse is till the old one that has the same problem. and Thanks for the help, found the 230,3 template and deleted the whole group.

only 230,3 should be the only issue, not all of them

I can change the link at the multiverse to show the update aswell, but the link is hosted on IMT server so download it from here in future in the characters folders Capcom and the marvel universe
