That stance is by THX, can't remember the whole username at the moment. That's a better stance to use than the one you have now, IMO. But that's just me. The walk looks a little funny. The way her legs are positioned look separate from her the direction her torso is facing. But that's the only animation I think could really use some tweaking.

I might still have a bit of tweaking to do on the walk, that's true, but I modeled the legs after Sakura, so I don't think they can be TOO far off. maybe it's just the stiff upper half I should focus on.

Also, I can't use that stance.  I don't have permission and I'm not about to steal sprites.  So maybe I can tweak the one I have too if you think it needs it.

I've explained this.  XFields gave me those 6-7 sprites for that attack.  They were beautiful.  TOO beautiful.  They had colors and shadings that didn't match the original sprite and the original palette, and all the ones I made modeled after them.  So I had a choice.  Downgrade 6-7 sprites to match the 300+ existing ones, or edit 300+ sprites to TRY to match the quality of these 6-7.  I have to standardize the sprites somehow, and it seems the shading was a victim in making everything fit. Some sprites will go up in quality, others will fall down.  It's unfortunate, but I'm not going to do all that work for such subtleties.  Not even sure if I can.  Still, I might do SOMETHING to upgrade them a bit.  So you can disagree, but that was my decision.  I'm not even sure with all these mixed sprites from different sources that I can even do other palettes.  Maybe if I had made everything from scratch and not done an edit? I don't know anything about these things.  I'm still new. I hope you can understand.

I understand now. I had to do this choice, too.

I like the way you used the sprites, it was basically what I had in mind when Xfields asked me to work on it. About the stance, well, I gave it to Xfields for him to use it on his char, I guess it is up to him to decide if he want to give it to you.

In time, the char looks very good, nice base choices, the moves have harmony with the char. Good luck with it.  :)

Yeah, focus on changing her torso. Have it facing the camera more.
Right now, the direction her legs in some frames look to be facing more away from her opponent, as where her torso always appears to be facing towards her opponent. Notice for Sakura, Sakura's torso is facing a different direction than Jubilee. Sakura's left shoulder (our right) is facing closer to the camera than Jubilee's. Sakura is a good base for Jubilee though.

Notice the difference the direction their shoulders are facing:

I think Sakura uses the same kind of pose for her torso when walking.

If you have another sprite/pose of Jubilee facing a similar direction as Sakura and looks good with the walk animation, I'd recommend you try using that torso instead. A lot of walk animations seem to use the same torso as the stance does. But that doesn't always work well. Hope you don't mind the constructive feedback. Walk animations are a pain to do, I've done several of them.
Best of luck with this. It's looking good!

Great work so far! Well done! That recent special is incredible, real nice idea!
Glad Xfields sent you what he had done, he had some fantastic sprites, I remember one winpose that really suited Jubilee. THX's stuff was also equally awesome, that stance is incredibly fluid, I hope you're able to adapt it to suit your sprites.

I assume your using her XMen Legends voice then?
As for different moves using fireworks....hmmmmm. How about a special to stun/dizzy the opponent? Her powerset is kinda limiting......
Maybe a defensive special, or evasive move, she launches a firework, whole screen flashes and Jubilee has moved. Kind of like a teleport I guess

Thank you guys for the support!  I will try to use what I can!  I might not have another update for a bit.  Real life issues, but I will try to keep working while ideas are still fresh in my head!  In the meantime, if you guys still have things to share, put them down here to help me remember! :P

Dang it!  I was hoping nobody would notice until I had a chance to fix it!  Nothing gets past you guys!  I can't take all the credit, these are sprite edits. I was just excited to show off something new and let you guys know that I'm back to work on her.  Thank you for the feedback tho!

Hey that new walk is looking terrific!

One constructive comment though. ;)
Were you planning to add more shading to the legs? Not saying it has to be super detailed, but right now her legs look more like they're outlined. I think that's called pillow shading? Are you familiar with that? I fall into that a lot of times myself. Boots could also use a bit more detail, like in her stance. Nothing super difficult. :P
You could actually use her stance as a guide on how you could apply more shading to her legs and boots.
Also, her left arm (our right) still looks a little twitchy??? Maybe it will look better in-game...

Other than that, her new walk looks amazing! Great job.
