Superman by Exodus Prime and Jmaxx

Hello Everyone

I'm Exodus Prime and I'm new to the MUGEN community. First and formost I want to thank Jmaxx for introducing me to MUGEN. I m a long time friend of his and he had been telling me about this great game. I've seen a lot of everyones work on here and want to be able to commit to MUGEN.

I want to show everyone my 1st character Superman.

This is Jmaxx's design so I want to make sure that I mention that. Also He will be heping me on this project. We will both be doing the spriting. I'm still learning so most of the work will be his.

Because of his personal life he will not be speaking much on here so I will be doing it for him.

I am very excited about working on this with him.

Thanks for thge comments guy's. Yes Jmaxx and I are almost finished with 2 other characters then we will be going full time on Superman.

He did mention that there are multiple people doing a Superman and that maybe we could switch it up for someone that has been done yet. All in all we said we would just go ahead and do Superman, (he said Majectic/Mr. Majectic/Majestros would be a great character to).

You add more colors to other areas that you can use to make different "costumes" in the pals. I am doing it for Riddler, as you can see here:

 As you can see, the smartpal has normally unused colors that allow for different colored pants, question marks on his hat and tie, glasses or a mask, white eyes or pupils, and different colored shoes. You can pick some depictions of Superman like Kingdom Come for example, and add colors to make his "S" a little different, and have grey streaks in his hair. Just an idea. Supes is looking great by the way.

He is looking great. I'm glad to see new people joining this hobby, especially when a good spriter like Jmax is helping out. Look forward to seeing him finished and whatever other characters you two are working on. Quick note, the head makes him look more like Superboy than Superman, though.

Thanks a lot Batzarro Jmaxx is a big fan of your work and told me to look into your stuff if I ever needed to see how some good spriting is done.

I will look into trying to make him look a bit older. I was kind of going for the younger New 52 look.

Not only his spritework, Exodus, but him as a person. Since you're new in mugen, you must have good example, and Batzarro is a good example for everyone.

You could always make him pre crisis superboy, you know way back when he first came onto the scene? His costume was the same as Superman's only he looked like a teenager... Just a thought

Well I know there are a few Supermen being made right now but I king of wanted to keep him as he original. I will see if I can age him some. Thanks for the comments.

Well, I always prefer the red shorts on Superman, with the yellow belt, but this still looks cool.

If you decide not to make supes then this would be a excellent base for captain marvel junior (CM3).

I'm going to continue working on this WIP. Exodus is in and out of school so he will be helping out here and there. most of the work will be done by me though.

But yes this WIP is still being worked on.

Hey Guys I would like to show this WIP I've been working on...

I've taken over this WIP and I've only got about a months worth of work into it...







(Just noticed the sprite update I have to do on this one)



I just did this one last night. I ran out of time... I have to fix tune the shadows on the legs and the movement on one of the sprites also. But you can see how it's going.
