Robocop 2014 Trailer

wow robocop just got himself an upgrade check out this trailer

Hmmmmm not sure how I feel about it even after seeing the trailer, more questions than excitement.

-Is it just a exosuit(that one hand out make me think this) or is he actually human leftovers(brain and some organs) integrated with machine parts like the last Robo(them saying when the "machine" fights makes me think this)

-Can his color be changed at will/key stroke when he's in tactical/police mode or does he get a color change half way through the movie.

Will say it looks good and I prefer the silver over black not just because of the old Robo but because it just looks waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better

So after looking at the clip and some I can see that the new murphy wakes up in the gray and black suit which is bigger in size and then they change/put him in the black suit or they just take of the grey armor. So all the scenes when he is gray and black in this trailer seem to be while he is still at the lab before he actually hits the streets as roboco, le sigh

Well if you watch the trailer it shows him all torn up.... This way makes a lot more sense kind of like Vader

He didn't get all torn up, his car turned into a fire ball and burnt him, yet that one hand that they got stickin out all weird doesn't look chard at all.

In the original the dude gets his limbs blown off with shotguns bit by bit, and is tortured by psycho's with guns.

They should have at least kept the chrome, the black makes him look like a Power Ranger enemy knock off.

That exposed hand is just weird.........

well on the side note i think this new reboot will pull off with cgi effects and stuff this will be good to see

however the classic robocop movies are always my favorite b/c it has best storyline and its action pack as well

besides aint nothing  wrong with a upgrade version

honestly i like what i see. the action looks good. sorry nothing IMO beats the original of the first two but this new one looks good for what it is. I hope when i go to see it i get my moneys worth

it was good seeing that design in there too thats closer to the original. I guess their way to pay homage before switching him to all black.

The car explosion? eh whatever ...movies today are hella soft now compared to what most of us grew up on way back. so i guess that will do

that original uncut murder scene of murphy was ridiculously graphic. turned him into a straight vegetable,,,,,,that told a lot of us kids out there this is what guns do to people

I think the movie looks good but I do prefer the silver over black, even though I get why black would be better when running around going after criminals. The human hand is very odd also but I think I understand it, that is as long as he can physically feel what he's touching with it. If he can, it's more of a sanity thing to me, might go crazy losing that sense. Regardless, doesn't look right to me.

All in all, I do think it looks a lot better than what I was first expecting and I'm happy to see ED-209 back in this.

Well, judging by some of the scenes, Robocop starts in the classic style bulky chrome and black, but slims down for a tacticle black look. But further in, it looks like they blend the two  later on possibly, found a concept art which may prove my theory:



I do look forward to this, but nothing will ever beat the original.
