So an update, the hard drive crashed and I forgot to back up my files however with the few sprites I have in this topic I will most likely be starting over with Mike Haggar as a base. The WIP is not dead just complicated.

Ok, here we go

The Monk base was a great move, however, the lower body will make things hard on you.

Download Abubo Rao from ROTD and set his shirt colors to the BG color, that way his upper body can easly be removed, paste the lower body on the the Monk's and add rips where you wish.

Replace Monk's head with Sabertooth's or Hulk's, as they show more rage.

Mukuro from last blade will have the coat you'll need, again, use the pallet to remove him from it.

Considering Red Hulk is just Hulk modified...not likely and I've tried asking Acey for permission to use his/her stuff and get no response.

Using the stance isn't necessarily a bad thing, I don't plan to make it a simple sprite edit. There will be custom new movies, a unique intro, a whole lot of new sprites. And considering Ive checked out the sprites and they are more Green Hulk than Red Hulk.

Sigh....You clearly don't understand what I am saying yes the Head, Intro's and a few of the hyper's and attacks are custom but a major of the character is Green Hulk....And like I stated before getting a hold of the powers that be is like trying to get a hold of the president. Using a stance is not a crime and technically not illegal. After all nobody can really copyright a character unless it's truly original.

Crom, doing a very good job. There are people in the middle dedicated to disturb any other creator who does not belong to her brood of friends. You go with your plan, unless he put on the character download Where is the harm? It is a private project. And when you're done you decide who you want to be if you want to give someone. Nobody can tell you whether to use the base if a character just for you. Suerta good for you and your projects.

If I didn't think he could do this, would I offer him help? He asked for ideas, and he got them.

dude, don't get this road, is the same Animaraz choose to use - the road of "you can't make a criticism or I will cry" or "Mary Popins is real". We are trying to give something called FEEDBACK. Feedback DOESN'T NEED to be sugar coated, as some people here STILL want, after so many years. Neither it need to be that acid, this is why I said to Sky79 take it easy. Feedback needs to be just...feedback. Straight and precise.

Don't be so childish, please. There is no "people in the middle decidated to disturb". If someone give you a feedback, he doesn't wants to kill you or harm you - he is just trying to help. We already know that you don't like criticism, just don't try to make someone to act like you.

When we say to you not use Hulk as a base is because that edit sounds like a White Hulk, pure and simple. That doesn't reflects the skill you have, we KNOW that you have more skill.

Just try it. If you won't be able to avoid to use Hulk, at least try to make him different from the base.

Dude, we are trying to help you. Let me say something I've learned in all those years of mugen: its not because someone say OMFG NICE CHAR/EDIT/WORK that person is helping you. Actually, that person is doing the opposite.

You assume too much you make it sound like I am not adding anything or doing anything custom to it. Im actually doing a whole lot of custom to it. The only real thing Im even going to be using from Red Hulk is the stance...

Thus far, you've had the ear of a pro-spriter, and a pro-coder, offering you aid in both advice and action. both have released fighters for many years, help like that is rare in mugen.

 You've ignored all advice, going so far as to mock us for even trying to help you. That said, it's been a week, and you don't even have a finished concept for the stance? Are we to believe you're going to crank out 300-400 sprites, voice and code at this rate? Or that it's going to look like anything but a pallet swap of Hulk?

what hulk is in question here? cause ain't the hulk from mvc a creation by the guy who well... created mvc?

or we talking a custom hulk created by a mugen spriter? cause then, i totally agree about the whole "permission" thing, but if its the offical hulk from that old mvc game, i always took that as free to use O_o

disclaimer: i'm really new to the basics of mugen law and i've never really figured it out
