Why you ask ? Because look at most of the gamer population . They can totally relate to a guy like Rufus . He is quick for a big guy .

Say what you want about the gameplay, Rufus's design doesn't fit in the damn Street Fighter world. None of the new characters do.

And instead of fat joke characters, Soulcalibur 4 has instead joke female characters with fat boobs. When you place emphasis on fan service, you're only hurting the series in the long run.

If youre entering real underground tournaments, everybody is not gunna look pretty. I think Rufus does fit although his legs arent in proportion very well but honda's seem to be. Rufus' legs look kinda cartoony but his char does fit. We were in need of a new biker lookin char besides birdie.

He doesn't look like a biker. Street Fighter characters tend to look typical. The typical wrestler, the typical army man, the typical PROwrestler, the typical 80s gangster (Birdie). And when the characters are unique, they tend to at least have simple outfits. Rufus is nothing like this. Neither is Crimson Viper. Abel and El Fuerte seem to be simpler in design so really my beef isn't so much with those two... though El Fuerte should get a name change.

Most old school biker's have pony tails or long hair . You are correct on the yellow issue , though

I think now would be an appropriate time to post this.

ANYWHO, someone said something about none of the new characters fitting in Street Fighter. I disagree. Abel and El Fuerte both fit fine. Its just C. Viper *cough*VANESSA*cough* and Rufus that are weird. I can't wait to see how Fei Long looks though. He was my favorite character in SFA3.

All this bickering and fightin' over the game reminds me of when Street Fighter 3 arrived and the controversy that followed it. There were people just hating on the new breed and the parrying and that Ryu and Ken were the only two returning fighters. Third strike came out and brought back Chun Li from the grave along with some much- needed gameplay enhancments and it was well received (Especially in NYC Chinatown Fair goers know what I'm talking about

). But now I see people mad about the originals returning in sf4... wow.. and beefing about the new guys. I'm gonna give this game a chance. I just don't like the fact that the guy who Sh**ted crap on fighting evolution had a hand in making this. I want to slap the sh*t out of him for making me run out and pay for mugen

!!
