All originals from sf2 are in the game for arcade but for home versions it has been announced that dan, fei long, cammy and akuma

will bee in it plus gouken

I was just saying yesterday in the mvc3 thread that it's about time capcom made Gouken. (how will he fit in canonically ?)

I assure you man i dont talk about wind up stuff when it comes to games unless the game developers change their minds, anyways i got this info from e3 and capcom announceing it. Gouken is canon becasue he is ryu and kens master and if you watched the vid above he is in the movie. Anyways if you want more info and such let me know alright ppl

Street Fighter IV might get released thicoming s holiday season???

Yes ladies and gentlemen, according to kotaku, Capcom released its financial statements today showing an interesting 14% increase in their revenues and also giving an estimated date on the release of the sure to be a hit blockbuster Street Fighter IV for PS3, xbox360 and PC.

According to the financial statement, Street Fighter IV might get released in this coming holiday season which is in about five months.

Pretty exciting news isn't it?

Yeah me too but i think this movie will explaing that or if im correct the gouken scenes are just flashbacks

I think Sakura to should have been in this game, even tough i dont like her so much. But she is a cool character, and always runs after Ryu:P or maybe Rose to should off been there

I believe bison destroyed rose in the alpha series but yeah sakura would've been a cool addition, obviously an older version of her though.

Rose was close to killing Bison, Bison outmatched her shortly after and his body was destroyed. Later it's revealed that his soul is now in Rose's body until his scientists can create a new body for him. The body that's created was the one seen in SF2, while Rose's fate isn't explained.

It isn't a guy that came back but
Sarah is back in season 4 after having her head cut off in season 3.

I was never a big fan of rose but the MVC version for mugen shows what she could be, That version is one of my fave chars.

i think, that we dont only need Sakura in it, we need Pullum, Garuda, Blair Dame, Hokuto, Kairi, C Jack and Skulloman. Then i think the game would have been complete.

ok no ex3 characters should be in it whatsoever. i mean com do we need an akuma wanna ba named kairi or do we really need a bat carrying balrog named jack...seriously i mean think about it. i do like skulloman (who actually came from fighter maker for ps1 btw) and jack because they are my personal fves in that series but they would not fit canonically at all and they wouldnt fit in street figher 4. i mean the series sucked hard and do you really think capcom would really wanna be more like them? i think not. if anything they should stray far...scratch that......VERY VERY VERY far from that series and thats what they are doing. Sakura yes should be in there due to the fact that she has a part in the story as well and the fact that she is the only female rival of ryu. but serious just hang up the ex series characters because it is not going to happen. but its fine to dream it if u wish

Pullum, Blair, Kairi & Hokuto are nothing like other street fighter characters, and by the way, capcom could improve their sprites better just like the other characters in the game.. i think that would have been great;)

Dan Hibiki and Fei Long were already confirmed...and are going to be exclusive the the console versions (will not be in arcade version)
