Ken has his own grudge against Akuma for the death of Gouken. Read the SFA manga.

IMO, it wasn't awesome until Ken got into the fight.

I mean what happens if Ryu dies in the fight?
Ken loses a sparring partner?
But he also trains Mel and Sean the same fighting style, so either one of them could serve as a replacement for Ken.

Ryu barely ever sees ken as it is with all his lone warrior walking bs.
He's just dead weight. He has nothing to lose, he has nothing left to fight for.
Bison could just kill Ryu, and the only thing that would do, is turn Ken into another Guile.

Yeah, it got more exciting when Ken jumped in... but why does this story seem familiar, I remember reading this, about how Ryu and Akuma are fighting and then Ken jumps in... Must halve been in the Manga, it's been a long time,

SEEMS like to me the vid takes off right after akuma Kills/seriously hurts bison. it also seems to me that gouken was not really dead, just hid in the shadows to see what would become of his students maybe??? This still shouldnt be called sf4...

I know these are 2 different stories but if in this story Gouken is alive why in the other story did Gouken end up like this

perhaps u guys didnt know that bisons reappearance has something to do with Guy and Rose and alpha 3 ending of rose. cammy is nothing more than a body bison used to put his power into but her body couldnt hold that much power which led to him looking for ryu and trying to use his body and that whole story about him brainwashing ryu.....but anyway when rose fought bison in alpha 3, since rose already has half of bisons soul with her before he knocked her out he gave the other half of his soul to her without her releasing it then guy shows up finds roses body and carries her far away from there because it was not safe for her to be there....then thats when the ryu vs bison fight and akuma vs bison fight whoich we all know bison got raging demoned but it was nothing more than a shell of a body which is weird. that is why bison says he has no soul. the question is what happened to rose for bison to be able to come back since she carries his whole soul within her

That's not it at all, "In the interim between the Alpha series and Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, Bison remains inside Rose's body until his scientists can form a new (albeit weaker) one for him. Bison appears as the final boss of Street Fighter II, though Rose's ultimate fate is left ambiguous." You're right about Rose being carried away with Bisons consciousness, but they transferred his sould back into a weaker body! And akuma didn't kill him in Alpha, he killed him in SFII, Alpha is the prequel! I doubt he survived Akuma's attack becouse it judges the sins people have done, and the attack increases with every sin, and Bison only having his badside, there's no way he would survive!

this pic doesnt say that he's dead. just cuz you see blood and him unconscious doesnt mean dead. you can be passed out and bloody without being dead cantcha? as a master, im pretty sure he can mask his chi to seem destroyed as well

i read many times in sf comics, stories movies ...etc that gouken was indeed dead but eh they will bring everyone back eventually.
here is something that most pll don't know and it will be considered news for some ppl i'm sure.
akuma is dead as will....what? yes akuma was killed by the hands of KAIRI after kairi gave into the dark hadou and fought with akuma in a rematch that ended with akuma's death and unleashed the dark hadou's sprite which is the inhuman combination of souls called Garuda...after that kairi became evil kairi then was guided by light again to return to the good side and save his sister.

in short akuma got owned by kairi after he took kairi's eye in the first match which makes kairi the ultimate shoto if you think about it
