That last guy Seth is a pain . He has all these crazy moves . One he sucks you into his body with this cool effect & shoots you at the screen .

Just so people know, all that DLC that you think you are adding to your game...well it was already on the disc to begin with. Capcom is charging you for a stupid key to unlock the crap that is already there. Basically you are being ripped off and charged for stuff that should be free and or unlocked by just playing...Capcom sucks and can go rot. What's worse is from I have seen and heard the net code is worse than HD-Remix. They did not know what the hell they were doing when they made this game..oh wait Capcom didn't make it Dimps did

Tis sad, another failure as far as I'm concerned, also Seth will be banned from tournies.....who didn't see that coming? People are gonna rip into me for this, but the truth is the truth and I'm not gonna lie to myself or be in denial of the facts. SF is a dead series and it's time they stopped making it..this game proves that. Capcom can't make a good game to save their own hides now. Just another greedy company out to milk gullible gamers of their money for a rehash....and not a very good one at that. Putting Ono in charge was their first mistake and making it 3D was the final blow along with giving it to dimps. Go ahead and rip into me, but at least I see this game for what it truly is. I don't buy into hype like all the idiots out there. Rant over..*steps off soap box*

Edit: and this one is for Retsu...Akuma has to be unlocked before he's playable, sorry buddy. Seems it will be a bit of work to get him too..same goes for unlocking all the characters as they are forcing people to play with everyone to unlock everyone.

Namco did the same with Soul Calibur . Vader was on the 360 disc , I could see him in the files . A guy on youtube actually figured out how to use him . Namco threatned him not to release the info & take the vid down . I guess they scared him enough , that he did . I think they finally released Vader now . Same thing have to buy him online . By the time they did it , that was too late . Because I for one could care less . If they did release Vader a couple of weeks later i would have bought him .

Marvel Ultimate Alliance was the same deal . You had to go online & buy the pack with Venom , Dr Doom , Hulk , Sabertooth or whoever it was .

Most games are going to this . Pretty soon there will be NO unlockables , you'll just have to buy everything online & spend a fortune . I do not look forward to that at all . I hear this year for madden the football could go flat during the game & you'll have to go online & buy air for it

Tatsanuko vs Capcom is awesome . Even though the graphics are not true 2d . The game is great . Much better than this Streetfighter

How do you unlock them ? I thought you said you can only buy them ?

First of all, I hate Resident Evil...I think it's trash so that's a moot point to discuss with me. TvC..that's whole other can of worms, first they make it japan only and then only on Wii....just stupid. They should have made MvC3. About the characters, no those are unlockable. It's just a bit of work to do so is all. I'm actually surprised Capcom didn't charge people for those too. But here is what I think is the process for getting the locked characters, it may be a little incorrect, but close.

Unlockable Characters

Sakura
Beat the game, on Arcade Mode, with Ryu

Dan

Beat the game, on Arcade Mode, with Sakura.

Fei Long

Beat the game, on Arcade Mode, with Abel.

Cammy

Beat the game, on Arcade Mode, with C. Viper.

RoseBeat the game, on Arcade Mode, with M. Bison.

Gen Beat the game, on Arcade Mode, with Chun-Li.

Seth

Beat the game, on Arcade Mode, with all non-unlockable characters.

Akuma & Gouken
To unlock Akuma and Gouken, you must first complete the game with the other characters, including those that start off locked, like Dan, Cammy, etc.

However, to then get Akuma and Gouken, you must reach them in the arcade mode. If you set the settings to best of one round, then I think it's:

Akuma: - 3 perfects
Gouken, 2 Super Finishes, 5 perfects

Bro , that game is sweet on the Wii . You can play it using the classic controller which is great . They couldn't release it in the states due to licensing with some of the characters involved .

MVC 3 couldn't be made at this present time . Capcom has no rights to Marvel characters anymore .

OK , Sunday is my day to relax . So I guess I will have to just keep beating this game with everyone to get the hidden characters .

To be honest I think the Wii is dumbest console ever conceived, but I don't even play consoles anymore so it doesn't matter. Anyway, I'm well aware of licensing thing, that's why I thought it was a dumb idea to make the game when they could have gotten the Marvel license somehow. Capcom is just too lazy to bother getting proper licenses. Personally, I think the fighting genre has been played out and it's time to move on. I can't believe people still drool over the genre after all this time. It was never my forte anyway so maybe that is where my bias comes from and why I seem harsh, but that's just my own opinion. If I want to play SF..I'll just fire up SSF2 Turbo or SFA2 and I'm good. The only fighters I really want Capcom to produce is another Darkstalker game and just one more MvC game.

I agree . I hope they make a new Darkstalkers game .

Here's what I ilke about fighting games . Back in the day , it was because you could walk into an arcade & put your quarters up next to the line of them & wait your turn to challenge someone . Once you were there , you could literally play the game all afternoon on 50 cents as long as you kept winning . You were playing human opponents so there was always a new challenge . Playing the computer , you could pretty much predict their AI . Another human opponent was unpredictable .

Now adays . I just don't have

of free time on my hands . I have Fear 2 , but don't really have the time to get involved with it . A fighter , say I am waiting for a phone call or something & I have 15 minutes to kill . I can throwin the new streetfighter without getting totally wrapped up i it & trun it off anytime because it's not that involved .

As for whatyou are saying about only releasing TvsC in Japan . They have been making games only for Japan since the NES days . So you either have to import them or find other ways to get them . I do not disagree with that . We have some games that only come here in the states that Asia doesn't get .

If you really hate fighting games , you are kind of at the wrong forum
