So basically the console version is probably going to have more content then the arcade version.

Look at Ken from SFA, and look at him in SF4, SFA was when the characters (I mean Ken and Ryu of course) were young (late teens), SF2 and afterwards is when they reach their late 20s-30s, so I'm sure by the time SF2 happened, Sakura graduated from high school.

Well that's SNK, most other fighting series' characters age, and change.
A great example of a fighting character aging would have to be Heihachi from Tekken.
He goes from black haired middle aged, to an old geezer within 3 games.
