ok heres my list of what I think they look like

Balrog - Apollo Creed+ plus steve fox
Akuma - Heart pretzel
Gouken- Normal pretzel
Guile - Charlie
Blanka - Tourist
Zangief - Mike Haggar
El Fuerte- Chef (obviously)
Chunli- That woman from from crouching tiger hidden dragon
Abel - Kurt Angle (

Seth - well his ball is yin and yang + silver surfer with everyone elses moves +Uriens and Gills moveset
Ken - A pimp, playa, and balla
Vega - Phantom of the opera + John Smith for the pocohantas cartoon movie
Bison - looks like he got his a$$et whooped
Sagat - Ballarina man in tights
Feilong - Bruce Lee - Enter the Dragon (my fav movie)
Cammy - Juli and JUni from sfa3 ....aww..idk its the same old cammy with more cheeks showing

Ryu - Looks like he just got finished fighting Akuma
Gen - Gohan (gokus grandfather from the Dragonball series)
Honda - well another pretzel
Sakura - Yuri
everyone else i dont have an answer for

hmmm i dunno..i mean, i know ryu, ken, bison, guile, sagat etc.. have to be in the game cause there main characters in SF...but SF has tons of characters..they always remake the same people..i would like to see cody in there, urien, yang etc...why they only put such a limited ammount of characters, i have no idea. at the note, why the put the same people in EVERY game i just cant figure out. im tierd of seeing ken and ryu

, they been played out for about 20 years now.. thats just me. its good to see there putting gen in there, him and gouken are the only ones im please to see in this game.

I wanted my main man...the new master of bushin Guy to be in there but hes not. who knows maybe they are planning on using the other characters for something else. I guess Dee Jay and T Hawk are done after sf2. Really all Deejay wanted was to get people to listen to his music and all T Hawk wanted was his sister Juni back from Bisons' mind control and both succeeded so I guess their story is done and over with.

i would have thought since they havent dropped a SF game in ages, and that its on xbox 360.l..they wou.ld have LOADS of characters....but no, some people are sufficed by KEN AND RYU

ken and ryu are still and will forever be the main characters. if anything the only one you will see in the next sf game will be ryu by himself. its almost time for mel masters to get his start. i think this is kens last run honestly in games that is......well maybe.

im just tierd of ken man.. and ryu....SF needs to kill them off already. which they NEVER WILL. cause 70 percent of the people who know about SF or play it...only like or only use ken and ryu....the SF universe is pretty big, bring some new faces into the game. WHY is the question WHY.

yeah i feel you. i used to use ryu but i have since then gone to everyone but the shotos. for some reason when i play the shotos i feel limited or really i should say when i play as them i get bored easily because i have so much experience in playing the both of them that i dont feel them as much anymore. well actually i always hated ken.

Killing off Ryu is like killing off Mega Man.

And I think that if they're going to bring back all the SF2 characters, then friggin' bring back T. Hawk and Dee Jay. I would rather have those two than Rufus and C. Viper.

Its also like killing off Mario, Ryu, Ken and Chunli are SF. Without any of those, it wont be SF anymore

It'd sure be stupid, though.

I mean, they killed off Liu Kang in the Mortal Kombat series and look what happened... he returned anyway as a ZOMBIE. Though to be fair... Scorpion and Sub-Zero were always considered to be bigger mascots than Liu Kang. Liu Kang is just very important to the storyline since he's the hero and all.

@Sub-Zero: She is one of the most recognizable characters for the game, it wouldnt kill SF but it would be like taking Peach out of Mario. Wouldnt feel right

Alt Costumes are confirmed to be payable DLC ?

A recent scan (pictured above) from a ps3 dedicated magazine has surfaced today. In it, a confirmation that Alt costumes for the characters in SF4 will be pyable DLC content.

I know that this will make a lot of people mad, but in the arcades Alt costumes were acquired by purchasing them with the virtual "zeny" currency, which was obtained by playing matches. Meaning the more coins you toss up in the machine the more zenys you get. So the alts were not free on the arcade either, therefore it is not really a surprise that they are payable dlc in the home version.

I personaly just hope there will be more than just one Alt outfit per character, i want to see gym teacher Sakura, Ryu in a white shirt and jeans as in the sf2v anime, Ken wearing a suite, and finally Gouken in his blue gi that he wears in the anime flashback when he fights Akuma. Make it happen Capcom!

Famitsu Reviews SFIV and gives details abt Alt costumes and first free patch and match replays!!!

Famitsu reviewed SF iv in its latest issue, and gave the game a score of 9,8,8,9 (which translates to 34/40). The latest issue also reveals that Alt Costumes will be sold in a pack of 5 costumes with a weekly release.

another feature revealed by famitsu, is the Championchip mode whcih will be a free dlc patch available from day one.

Clearly this is for Ranked match... but I don't see anything that says if there is an unranked/player-match Championship mode.

- Championship mode, as with Ranked and Player matches, can be played using the Arcade-interrupt method (or whatever it's called; under player profile, there's an Arcade-interrupt setting that you can change)

- If you rank in for Championship mode, or any of the Challenge modes (I think; the text is not very clear), you can choose to upload your replay file. Replay files can be viewed by anyone.

I think that Sakura ripped off Ryu's Giganic Top half Gi off, washed it, and used it as her own Gi XD
