Yep, he dyed it. It wasn't 100% black in the first place, but nonetheless he dyed it. Besides, look at how many people dye their hair in real life. They do it

in Japan. One of my close friends in Japan dyed his hair blonde with a black lightning going from the front to the back of his head, true story. He's cut that off, though, and settled down from his wild ways

Back on topic, glad that Dan finally plays like a real character (minus the quirky antics), I may get back to playing as him like I did in SF Alpha 2. Rose looks great too, I agree that her Ultra doesn't look that great. Maybe Capcom ran out of ideas in such short time?

agreed they must have ran out of ideas. i would have settled for a cool looking soul throw type move. yep im definitely gonna play Dan on there.....not as my main. im gonna play with every one and try to master them all except el fuerte...i despise characters with stupid infinites. imma go against him purposely just to kill his cheapness factor though hes not fully cheap. i dont know who my main is gonna be but i know ill probably stick while guile in order to test ppl out though im extremely solid with him. though my main was feilong when he first hit the scene, i almost always go for the unique character no one will pick and try to make him better

. i know street fighter....the real story is all. we are entitled to make our mistakes....even i make them but street is something i know. though i have been wrong before but mostly im not wrong when it comes to my fave fighting game

His father is actually half Japanese which is why Ken is mostly Japanese.

(50% + 100%)/2 = 75% Japanese

The other 25%? No clue. I guess I could say "white" but that's a racial term and I really try to avoid racial terms because they're inventions of society and have no scientific merit.

I could also say American but... America is really diverse. They could have some Irish or German blood in them or whatever. The last name Masters has its roots in English and Scottish but who knows what generation Masters he is in America.

EGM's Unpublished Street Fighter IV Article reveals a lot and is now online:
As promised by the last editor in chief of the recently cancelled EGM magazine, the Street Fighter IV preview that was due to be published in the february issue of the magazine is now online at 1up.com

The magazine reveals quite a lot about the game modes such as the great sounding Trial mode.

From the Article: "SF4 essentially breaks down the challenge mode into three main categories -- Time Attack, Survival, and Trial. It then separates each of these categories into two difficulty levels, normal and hard -- each setting has its own number of challenges. When you complete the individual challenges on either difficulty setting, you unlock rewards that range from extra colors and actions for each character to titles and icons that you can display with your player profile in online matches.
Of course, the Time Attack and Survival modes are pretty self-explanatory (you earn extra time based on your performance in the Time Attack mode -- or, in the case of Survival mode, health). But the Trial mode's pretty interesting -- it actually teaches you to play SF4 by making you complete specific combos for each character. A challenge with Blanka asks you to jump in with a heavy kick, follow it up with a crouching medium kick and a light punch, and then finish it up with a heavy rolling attack. This mode's a great way for newcomers to learn how to play effectively. "

GameDaily's first look at the Madcatz Street Fighter TE Stick and pads:

Gamedaily has nice firt look article and pictures about madcatz's official street fighter IV Stick and controllers.

When i look at the TE stick all i can think of is that I cannot wait to get my hand on this baby.

From the article: "The Tournament Joystick, roughly the size of an Xbox 360 comes with the standard joystick and six buttons and seems sturdy enough to take a beating. Madcatz worked with Japanese company Sanwa to get the same exact buttons and joystick they use on the arcade versions of the game -- it's hard to get more authentic than that. At the top of the box is a special Turbo button -- once you press it you can assign Turbo to any of the buttons on the box. Just to cover all their bases, there are two types of Turbo -- faster and slower -- so hardcore fighting fans can get the fine-grain customization they're looking for. You can tell Ken dyes his hair because his eyebrows are black.

As for his son... well, from the picture I've seen, he seems to have light brown hair and his eyebrows seem to be a little brownish. He probably gets the coloring from his mom and, who knows, it might get darker when he gets older.

exactly what i was thinking. I mean gosh if u win or lose u dont have to play for competition unless you want guys. plus it would be interesting to see how many of the guys/girls here actually play the game. im definitely getting this game for sure. i cant wait to go against Daigo (not the imt one) and pit my skills against him just so i can see if he truly is good. I also wish I could go against Justin Wong in his next tourney in Atl in sf4 but if i cant get off work then ill have to wait till final round and then EVO. but really guys dont abandon the game like HD was.

. imma have a blast converting from the past to the future style. that fous attack will definitely be a HUGE asset to add to my game. Yeah but I want you guys to participate especially some of the members here my age that say they can play the heck out of sf. I just want more challengers is all guys.

ryu and ken use ansatsuken and dan uses saikyo (i think its kyokugen

)
