in that first vid i was like eww what is bison doing

but i can see what he was trying to do. loved that zangief vs ryu fight. Daigo played that one safe and won in the end. thats what i call keeping your composure and not jumping the gun. i love how he never gave away his position and stood his ground. i look forward to someday playing against when i get the game and train on it. That will sure be an exciting day for me and the people that will be there.

Damn, Daigo's timing and agression close range and far range is amazing! Even when not relying on the Hadouken he's a monster with Ryu's (few but strong) combos. I got dudes at my arcade who are pretty good playing SFIV who would enjoy playing against Daigo. No good Ryu players around my way, though, for they don't have that patience nor precision needed for close range fighting. A shame I don't play the game enough, for I'd love play Daigo with either Guile or Vega.

I'm just praying Ken is top tier, he will always be my main, but when I play seriously, I switch to Ryu, I mean he was top tier in SFII, I always used Ken, but when I switched to Ryu, I hardly ever lost.

You'll find a chart below showing roughly who would win how many games out of 10 if two high-level players of equal skill played against each other using the characters shown.

For example, M. Bison (Dictator) would win 7 games out of 10 against Crimson Viper. And Blanka would win 6 games out of 10 against El Fuerte.

Overall, Sagat's a top-tier character. His long range game's there (Capcom even kept in his speed & recovery advantage with his Tiger Shots), he has good power behind his hits, and he's surprisingly combo-friendly. He's the type of character in SFIV that you can zone others pretty easy, going from basic attacks to his Tiger Shots with little to no lag. Once you learn Sagat, you will be hogging the machine for awhile.

Don't get too excited, that list isn't very accurate, but Sagat is one of the highest!

Funny believe me the list is pretty accurate for now but when then add in the other chars then w will now the true tier list. Plus this list is the most accurate tier list out there on the net because it is official but it doesn't mean that is a 100% meaning you will always win if you play this characater like most people believe.

imo sagat is a better char to use than ryu

if u catch some1 on his tiger uppercut its over XD

i learned how to use him in cvs and i went into beast mode

too bad he wasnt in sfIII

im the best personnaly with shotos there balanced and more my style sagat is ok but by what ive seen you have to rely on his tiger shots to much

Keep in mind that, that tier list is for the Japanese Arcade version only and it's a tad old now. I say give it a year, mostly meaning the console version and arcade version and that tier list will change. I'm quite sure there things that people still haven't discovered for each an every character so give it more time for the pros to analyze each of the fighters. That list was only temporary of what is known currently. Look at how tier lists always change over time with fighters. SSF2T's tier list evolved over time as people got much deeper into the game and found new things. There's no telling how much the list could change or if it changes at all. The console exclusive characters will change things for sure though.
