Yeah, they are for the home versions only..meaning Xbox360, PS3 and PC...they won't be in the arcade. Well, there is a possibility of an arcade update in the future with the home version extras, Capcom is known for saying one thing and doing another.
Agreed ;)

With those words said, does anyone have any perceptions as to how the console versions of Street Fighter IV will differ from the arcade versions?

Actually they aren't changing much of anything in terms of gameplay, it's already been confirmed that all the broken stuff like El Fuerte's infinite will not be taken out and left in the home versions as Capcom does not see it as worth their time to fix such things. They really don't see these things as a problem and will only consider patching them if massive complaints come in and it becomes a serious issue. Capcom just wants us to discover these things on our own and abuse them as they think it's part of the fun. I personally think that's all just an excuse to be lazy, but Capcom is known for being one of the laziest companies around.

Seems that the PC version isn't getting a collectors edition, that sucks. I'm sick of the consoles always getting the bonuses.

Street Fighter IV US Limited edition Content:

Gamestop has just updated the SF4 Collector edition's product page with what is going to be included in it.

The content so far is similar to what the european version is getting with ONE exception:

while the european version will get 2 figures of both ryu and Viper, the us version will include only ONE, based on what system you are getting it for. Ps3 owners will get the Ryu action figure (Yay!) while the 360 owners will get C. Viper.

On the  "PLUS" side, the US version will also get a SF4 soundtrack cd.

Another detail a that has been revealed as well is that the downloadable bonus that has been mentioned to be featured in both the european and us version of the collector's edition, consists of 5 extra character costumes.

The full list of included goodies as seen on Gamestop is as follows:

    * A Blu-Ray Bonus Disc with HD 65-minute full-length Anime movie and promotional trailers.
    * CD Soundtrack
    * Collectible Figurine: Ryu
    * Udon/Prima Hint book
    * Downloadable Content: 5 Alternate Costumes.

Street Fighters will soon invade a certain little big planet:

Ryu and Co will soon invade the peaceful world Little big Planet via a downloadable pack. This first pack includes Ryu, Chunners, Guile and the red cyclone Zangief.

The pack will be available on 12/11/08 and will cost $5.99 (you can also buy each character individually for 1.99 each)

From Capcom Unity: "From Capcom and SCEA come the toughest little Sackperson costumes to hit the streets yet. Capcom is proud to introduce the Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix costumes for Little Big Planet. Each costume is painstakingly detailed down to the last stitch to recreate the look and feel of your favorite characters from HD Remix.

This collaboration between Capcom and Sony is something we really wanted to do for all of the fans. Both companies have been very hard at work getting these characters into this new world. We hope fans and new players will enjoy the chance to download these very iconic costumes and explore new planets as their favorite Street Fighter characters."

I personally think this so called collectors edition is just a big rip off, it's just a waste of money. The US version seems even worse in my opinion. I just want the game itself, that's all I need. All I care about is when the hell the PC version is coming, but it seems that version is getting neglected and ignored. I hate the way they always try to spoil console gamers and leave PC gamers out in the cold. I mean, you have to ask yourself..do you really need all that crap from the collector's edition? The figures look dumb anyway, and you know eventually people will be selling this junk separately on ebay. The downloadable content will be distributed online somehow too, so there's no need for this big waste of money...especially in these hard times when money is so tight.

 ^^(PM)^ Man. That's exactly how I feel. I just wish the PC version would get a release date set....I'm just kinda bummed that I might not be able to get one of those headbands because of it......oh well, I guess I'll make just make one myself lol.

Yup, they really need to set a date for the PC version so we know when it's coming, but Capcom won't even talk about that version at all as if it's not even coming. And yeah, I think I can live without the headband...shouldn't be too hard to make your own really. All that content is just not necessary...it's just greedy marketing. So come on Capcom, where is the PC version? To be honest I have heard they don't plan on releasing it till maybe several months after the console versions.....which I think is unfair.

i don't know if this is correct or not or even if anyone posted this yet but it's a rough estimate well that's what the gamestop sales rep told me they said that their computers have feburary 15-16 but theirs no official date he added that most likely it'd be later than that like febuary 21 or something like that
