SSF2THD Remix press kits to go on limited sale:




Capcom has announced that it will offer the SSF2THD Remix presskit for sale in a very limited quantity (probably 300). The details on when and how we can get one has not be disclosed yet. All we have now is the gorgeous pictures of the press kit and what it contains.

The press kits contain the following:

- Ryu's head band

- Rare Chun Li figurine (only 1,000 made)

- Magnetic Background with two sheets of Static Cling Characters

- Street Fighter Remix Comic

- Asset Disc (HD backgrounds, sprites, logos, etc)

finally got hd remix and i have to say wow the new changes are pretty cool. Finally sagat doesnt have sucktitude like he used to imo. His length was his greatest advantage but also his greatest disadvantage. Wow i played afew online and its pretty fun

To be honest I'm hearing mixed views about HD-Remix, I think they shouldn't have wasted their time on another SF2 remake and focused on SF4 instead. This remake wasn't really needed, Super Turbo is fine as is. Plus I think the new artwork looks awful and just doesn't fit.

honestly upon further review of the game i agree totally with you dg. the hd look does look aweful. from far away it looks cool but up close i was like  . few of the changes are really dumb but still its not enough to warrant tooo much of a fuss. anyways im heading to bed just got finished paying 142 matches with retsu. wore me out today

Yeah, they didn't need to change the graphics just balance the gameplay. 142!? you guys play , no wonder he's never around...too bad I can't play. They should have released a PC version for people like me. At least there's SF4 coming eventually.

yeah they should have but then again capcom wasnt gonna do that due to the fact that its just a recycled game made better in some ways but a lot worse than others. Yeah me and retsu had some trouble conneecting but i fixed it and we played until i said im done . I was so tired . I did experience online lag against some unknown guy after the last match. The online lag on there can make characters look like shin akuma cuz the guy did the hurricane kick with ryu without even moving and i got hit . I still almost won regardless of it though. Jus plz if theres lag RUN!!!

Agreed but there is less lag in the game compared to other games out there. Out of all the matches i played in sf2 hd i got like 4 lag spikes out of 142 matches and thats good

startin from the very begining, no doubt well c alpha hd, final fight hd, xmen hd.

so hopefully it sells good

You again...  , just kidding, how could you guys ever get tired of SFII? I think this will be the last remake though, I played it and found nothing bad about it, I love the art, Udon does SF justice! The gameplay is exactly the same, not including those few ajustments to make it more balanced, but I really love this game!

@ Darkgargos, you can't be mad at Capcom though, they are finally working on the SF franchise again, but I'm also looking foward to SFIV more, I think SFHD was just something they put out for "fun", and SFIV is what they really concentrated on.

Yes, they are exclusive to the home versions of SF4.

Sad thing is I will have to wait even longer for SF4 since it's not being released for PC at the same time the console versions are. It could be several months before they release it....that really unfair, but it seems they remember the DMC4 situation and want to fight piracy. Yeah, like releasing it later is gonna stop people from getting it for free, but they also seem to not want that to cut into the console versions sales.

Yeah, they are for the home versions only..meaning Xbox360, PS3 and PC...they won't be in the arcade. Well, there is a possibility of an arcade update in the future with the home version extras, Capcom is known for saying one thing and doing another.
