Dan and Fei Long are confirmed for the home versions? Great stuff! I'm really interested in how they're gonna do Dan, for he was good in SFA1, great in SFA2, and useless in SFA3. Fei Long's gonna rock for sure, so I'm not worried about him

dan in sfa 3 isnt useless he is just hard to play with cuz he doesnt follow the same rules as the shotos. play with him differently and behold the true power of dan

Street Fighter IV to be released on February 2009 according to Ono

Today marks the begining of the Street Fighter IV grand national tournament, held in Japan. And according to www.dengeki.com Ono San announced for the first time the release date for the home version Street Fighter IV which will be February 2009, merely Three months from now.

i knew gen would be in im not suprised i mean he was in sf1 and now he plays a big roll in the series. And i think this takes place before sfa so gen looks a bit younger.

capcom is really confusing all there story line is always the same except that ken and ryu seem a lil bit younger.

It's more like:

SF1 (Ryu scars Sagat, Akuma kills Ryu and Ken's master)
SFA2 (a scarred Sagat becomes enraged and looks for Ryu, Akuma first encounters Gen)
SFA3 (Sagat comes to his senses and is still looking for an honorable rematch against Ryu, Gen is looking for Akuma, who ran away from their last encounter upon learning of Gen's terminal illness)
SFII (the latest version... possibly Turbo Revival for the GBA at the moment... Akuma kills Bison once and for all)
SFIV (GEN AND BISON (and Sakura, who didn't die but whatever) ARE BACK OMGWTFBBQ-FANSERVICE

)
SFIII: Second Impact (Ryu continues his journey, Alex defeats Gill)
SFIII: Third Strike (Ryu possibly starts taking lessens from Oro, some other junk happens...)

SFA1 and SFIII: New Generation do not count because their storylines were retconned with the release of their immediate sequels SFA2 and SFIII: Second Impact, respectively.

Honestly I think they look just like they did in SFIII.

The animated trailer they showed Guile leaving his family.
This is because in one of Guile's endings in SF2, he stops pursuing Bison and decides to go with his family, however in SFIV he breaks his promise and goes back to pursuing Bison (probably believing him and his family aren't safe while Bison exists).

no i think the reason guile still pursues him is cuz he cant get over what happened to charlie in the shadowloo base and he believes hes still out there cuz his body was never discovered.
